Levothyroxine
I would discuss your results with your GP and also let them know what oral iron vitamins etc you are taking and make a decision from there. You should be able to book a telephone consultation. Goid luck

Prenatal Vitamins
Please could someone who has read It Starts With The Egg and Brain Health From Birth, both by Rebecca Fett, tell me which Vitamins are advised to take in the book? I have my Day 5 fresh embryo transfer on Tuesday and plan to take prenatals as if my pregnant rather than TTC. I still have so many vitamins

Any thoughts on my friend's thyroid results, please?
Hello all, I was wondering if any more knowledgeable folks had any ideas about what could be going on with my friend's thyroid results? They seem crazy - I don't understand how she can have a reasonably "normal" TSH level with such unbelievably low FT4 and FT3. She's a 41 year-old female, does not

Finally spoken to endocrinologist 1st in 20+ years
Got to chat with the endocrinologist (not the one I'd hoped for after seeing list on Thyroid UK) I had to really concentrate as English not her 1st language but we managed to have an in depth chat over the phone. Anyway my doctor referred me as didn't want to put my levo up from 100 to 125mcg luckily

MTHFR gene / supplementation
In my quest to optimise my health and better understand my ADHD brain and the impact of my lifestyle choices, I have stumbled across a possible link between MTHFR gene mutation and ADHD. Gary Brecka human biologist (ref Geo et all 2018) and bio hacker and ADD Magazine both link these. If I understand

Can't seem to lose weight I gained back!
I've started taking calcium tablets and
vitamin
D
as well, but I've only been taking those for 2 weeks. The endocrinologist said my bloodwork is "perfect". So, I'm at a loss. I don't know what to do and I feel like I'm spiralling.

Hashimoto's?
I was diagnosed with autoimmune thyroiditis and adrenal insufficiency in 2008 by Dr Peatfield. I was on HC for while as NAX did not work for me. I changed my diet around and then weaned myself off HC. It feels like the symptoms are returning and I have had a full Thyroid panel done by Medichecks. Everything

Suppliments and blood sugar
Does b complex cause a high a1c because of the b12? Any other vitamins to avoid with high blood sugar would be appreciated.

So very grateful for Thyroid UK
I just have to express my gratitude to this forum and the admins who give of their time to help us who are or have been floundering with NHS input (or lack of input+even dismissiveness of our thyroid journey) with regard to our thyroid and other connected issues. My son will be 48 this year and that’

Test results - is T3 a bit too low?
Hello all, I have received my blood test results and would appreciate some help. They are as follows: TSH: 3.24 (range 0.27 - 4.2 nmol/L) Free T3: 4 (range 3.1 - 6.8 nmol/L) Free Thyroxine: 18.6 (range 12 - 22 nmol/L) Vit D: 37 (50 - 250 nmol/L) Everything else was OK apart from: Thyroid peroxidase

Bile Acid Diarrhoea
I have this condition and take colestyramine daily which controls it well. I recently asked my GP to have my fat soluble vitamins checked (A,D and K, I believe) in a blood test as this has not been checked in a long time. The email! came back saying there was no indication for this. The literature

Bloods taken
I went for my bloods taken today. I had asked for vitamins checked TSH , Free T 3 and 4. I was told that the T3 and T4 had not been asked for and I said I’d even written to the dr asking for those to be added. Vit D also wasn’t asked for even though I’d asked for that too. She agreed to do tge Ft3&4
