The ratty feeling won't go!
My temper can be pretty short. I got angry yesterday, my husband, who won't take instructions and won't educate himself about gardening was hacking away "helping" on the allotment. Obviously at the moment I don't have much energy for it, but I don't want it done wrong, because that creates more work

Hi, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism formally in July 2020, and put on 50mg Levo initially although my TSH levels had been over 5 for the 2 years prior to 2020 with the GP saying they would just monitor 🤦🏼♀️ subsequent blood tests after starting Levo showed the TSH was up and down, but GP kept

need advice
Hello, Having B12 defiency my GP has been prescribing me oral B12 which got my levels to normal but hasn’t changed my symptoms. She then prescribed blood tests for parietal cell antibodies and intrinsic factor antibodies. Both were negative. She says therefore I only need B12 orally and not injections

Worried about TSH levels :( 0.04mlU/L
I am taking a small 3mg of T3 with a private prescription and my NHS endo has said, this prescription is causing my lower TSH - but that feels like I'm being gaslight again. I'm feeling soo fatigued and stressed trying to get it sorted. I know I need to my levels on the lower side due to previous thyroid

How to persuade TSH-obsessed Endo I'm not over-replaced (on T3-only)?
Hello, I am posting because I'm hoping for some advice for an Endo meeting on Tuesday. There is a possibility that the NHS Endocrinology team at my local hospital might just be contemplating 'widening' their approach to T3 (historically for me, a violent slam in the face 'NO! Get off T3 immediately or

Update
I no longer experienced severe symptoms associated with B12 deficiency after 6 months of injecting 3 mg of Hydroxocablamin three times a day and supplementing methylcobalamin and adenosylcobalamin 5 mg combined three times a day in sublingual liquid for 8 months. The 3 years +- prior I did improve

Getting a thyroidectomy soon, what to expect?
Hi, recently diagnosed with a tumour in my thyroid, so team at hospital will be removing the whole thing soon. I am overwhelmed with all this stuff I've been reading here about T4/T3, vitamins, calcium etc. I thought I just had to take a tablet every day, dosage might be adjusted if necessary, but that

Vitamin D and Vitamin K Absorption Advice for the Community
Hi Everyone, I was curious about how much fat exactly we need at a meal when taking the fat soluble vitamins D and K so I looked it up. I wanted to share here in case it is helpful to anyone. Research suggests that 11g of fat at a meal is what is needed for optimal absorption of these vitamins. Some

Where to buy Feb 2024
Hi eveyone. Until now I have bought my B12 1mg/1ml Depot yearly but now it looks like things have changed. My regular German supplier says they no longer deliver to the UK so I have tried a few others with similar outcomes. It also seems like stock is very limited, if any at all. Can anybody recommend

Vitamins D and K7
I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism nine months ago, and prescribed 50mcg levothyroxine per day. No mention was made of Vitamin D results or any related issues like ferritin,or B12. I take Vitamin D 2200iu throughout Winter, and, as of October 23, after some online research, added Vitamin K2, 100 ug.
