Hello everyone. Firstly I want to say a big thanks to everyone that helped me understand my mum's results and situation. I also got my wires crossed and gave some wrong info. My mum did have a test before they prescribed 25mg, TSH 8.58. They said as she was 'borderline' they would try levo before considering

B12 doses
Hi, I'm after some advice I've not been here for a while and this is the only place I find people understand. I have been having B12 every 10week but as most know it isn't enough for some of us, I've been SI every 2-3 day in between but still feel very tired all the time got no go in me at all so on

B12 deficiency
I was diagnosed with a B12 deficiency. I'm recovering from covid it's been 3 weeks. Not sure if the covid knocked my B12 down. I had first injection today. I woke up out of my sleep my body burning and dry month. I had that feeling first week of covid it went away. Now I'm not sure if the B12 is fighting

Heart Arrhythmia
Hello All. I've posted in the past and remember that some have said that I could increase my dose of T3 to perhaps alleviate the arrhythmia I have been experiencing for many years. I take 75 MCG LEVO (for 35+ years with varying dosages) and 5 MCG Lio each morning. Any comments at this time would be greatly

Preparing for GP appt
Hello I have a GP appointment in a few weeks to discuss blood tests results and symptoms (tiredness, weight gain, low mood, pins and needles). Based on what I've read on this forum, it sounds like these symptoms and results could be indicative of hypothyroid, but because TSH is within range I'm unlikely

Can symptoms come and go?
Hello everyone, At the moment I'm waiting to see the gp tomorrow about thyroid and b12. I'm having various symptoms but they are coming and going. They may not be B12 related. Or they may. Eg.I just did about 20 mins of putting a wash on, making up a bed, not rushing. I've had to lie down because

My evaluation of which form of B12 is best.
The best form of B12 is not known. What is in fashion is different in different countries. Supply, what has been used before, difficulty storing, profit, etc. It is also the newest and that is often seen as better. Hydroxocobalamin is often touted as the best. The only justification is that blood tests

Chronic pain , degenerative spinal disease
I am at the end of my tether with chronic pain and more recently, peripheral neuropathy. Every 8 weeks I have a B12 injection for management of Pernicious Anaemia diagnosed in 1985. However, the pains shooting into my toes and burning sensation around week 6, drives me crazy. The GP is nice but does

Questions about TSH and advice on results over the past year much appreciated
Hi everybody, I've posted several times lately and I just wanted to ask for advice on thyroid related issues. I had COVID 3 times from June 22 - Jan 23 and was symptomatic each time. I did have a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia in 2018 but had been feeling a lot better in 2020 until I got COVID. Above

Short one as , well, I am buggered. Brain not working , so here to pick brains. As per not really getting anywhere with Gp. They have sent me a form to arrange repeat bloods, usually children are booked into walk in centre next door fairly quickly , but booking myself that isn't an option. So they

Finally taken seriously
I was diagnosed with PA many years ago, it was diagnosed over 30 years ago due to a mini stroke (TIA), put on daily B12 for 5 weeks then every 12 weeks. None of my symptoms went away, some abated a little but, never went away. Over the last 5/6 years things have got worse, however no GP would listen

B12 telegraph article.
Good to see an B12 awareness article by Henry Bodkin (senior reporter health and science) in the telegraph. Maybe there is some benefit to influential people turning vegan and will require B12 ?!

B12 Results - Way Different
Following on from previous post. Medichecks said my B12 had dropped - 49.6 pmol/L (37.5 - 150) So I took a test with Superdrug and the results are - 142 pmol/L (25.1 - 165) Help lol which is correct. I stopped my B complex which contains Biotin 2 weeks before both tests.

I also see

that I was deficient in for reasons not completely known. All other vitamins may be affected by that deficiency in ways that are unknown.

Adding more T3? or keep as is?
Hello All, I am looking to see any suggestions regarding adding more T3 to my current regimen. I am on 175 Tirosint T4 and 10mcg T3; I have Hashimoto’s and have been working on my iron by adding iron bisglycinate, which has helped as I am not dizzy, lightheaded, and have more focus. I also noticed

Is this common? fatigue and joint pain / cold hands and feet
On my 3rd month of treatment for active TB, currently on Rifampin, isoniazid, and b6. Looking at 6 months of treatment, maybe 9. I feel fatigued all the time, even with good sleep, exercise, drinking lots of water, eating whole foods and probiotics— like this general feeling of unwell and tiredness.

Hi, I’m new to the forum and blood tests in general so hopefully I will give relevant info. I’m 54 and have had fatigue for the past 6 months. I’ve always been fairly low energy but this is a different level. I am 10 years post menopause so it’s not that, and I’ve been on HRT a long time. My blood
