self Injecting Materials
I am just starting to investigate self injections. What is the dose one receives from a doctor’s surgery and where would one purchase the syringes from and is it worth paying for the training to self inject? How does one trust the website one is purchasing B12 from? Thank you. B12again

I did a trial of 1.5 mg methylcobalamin 4 times a day and that was positive. I then increased physical activity and had 3 days of a downturn and recovered. I then reduced to .75 mg with no decline. I increased physical activity for three days and had a downturn. I then added .06 mg of methylcobalamin

Vitamin deficiency and muscle loss
My B12 was low but now getting 3 monthly
B12
injections. what about
Vitamin
A, B6, E and K ? I believe they too are fat soluble. I presume those too would be low. do vitamin supplements in tablet form work ? Or do I need to look at other ways to boost those vitamins.

Spinal stenosis & b12 deficiency
Hi, Have just been diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis. I have reasons to believe it has a congenital aspect with me so that would eliminate b12 deficiency. But in reading I found some correlation studies with b12 deficiency. I thought that b12 deficiency only caused issues with degeneration of

Long time no see, a brief update from me and a daughter with a diagnosis…
Hello all! I don’t know if anyone will remember me as it’s been a few years since I last posted. I’ll try to keep my update brief (and positive) as it’s not regarding myself that I’m drawn back to this forum, although I may well start posting more about myself once I’m back into the swing of it! I expect

Anyone having B12 injections + hypothyroid?
Hi Has anyone here started taking B12 injections whilst on thyroid medication for hypothyroidism? And if you did, did the B12 affect the thyroid medication in any way? I seem to be noticing a higher heart rate since starting B12 last weekend. But I have permanent atrial fibrillation anyway so my

Further info on blood panel
Hello! I posted a couple of weeks back with some questions about low B12 investigations and was about to have a very full and detailed blood panel. I've got some further info from my blood tests. I don't have a copy yet, they're on the way, so I'll have to be vague about actual numbers for some of them

Wow, what a difference!
I've just had my 1st conversation with my new doctor. She started by saying that ".....your TSH is low, but that is explained by the fact that you're taking T4 & T3, so how do you feel?" She didn't know that T3 can now be prescribed again, but she does now. We had a sensible conversation and I'm going

Introducing myself
Hi, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd share a brief summary of how I ended up here. It's hard to say exactly when my symptoms started but in 2019, when I was 62, I found myself so persistently lacking in energy that I decided I should mention it to a doctor. The first doctor I saw did some blood

Cardiac rehab class, a bit disappointing at the moment
Hi all , I’m wondering what your experiences of cardiac rehab programs is like. I had heart quadruple bypass on 25th July , I’m recovering at an incredible rate physically . I was fit and strong prior to surgery , apart from a “fatigue” that is been to my GP about (tested B12, thyroid, Testosterone.
