Antibody levels of immunosuppressed people following covid-19 vaccination - results of the MELODY study
A study measuring the antibody levels of immunosuppressed people (including those with lupus) after having covid-19 vaccination found that about 4 in 5 people with a weakened immune system had antibodies after having 3 or more vaccines. People who had more doses of vaccine were more likely to have antibodies

Headcold and Cough
Good evening Everyone. Hope you all had a good Christmas. I know its difficult to give individual suggestions. But I came out to Spain for Christmas and New year and now have a cough and headcold. Which is producing a lot of mucus from my blocked nose. I am using Sterimar nasal spray. But not helping

I seem to be more ill since starting Levo
Before Levo I was hardly ever ill, rarely had a cold or flu but since starting Levo I’ve had the flu quite badly and I’ve had a constant cough since going on about 2 months. Now I’ve got a stinking cold over the holidays. Has anybody else had this or is this just a co-incidence?

covid
I have been taking a bunch of drugs for five years since my heart attack. Now I have tested positive for covid. My wife says she recalls the cardiologist once telling me that if I suffered covid then I should stop taking one of these drugs but does not recall which. I am hesitant to bother the cardiologist

Flare , cold and skiing !
Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas 🎄. Just looking for some advice - i have started with a terrible cold today, and also think i am flaring up as my shoulders and neck have been really sore for the last 7-10 days, reminding me of the early days. I am off skiing on 30 Dec and wondering what to do.

Covid vaccinations
https://www.england.nhs.uk/who-is-at-increased-risk-from-covid-19/ This lists people with LD as at increased risk from Covid. So why are poeple with LD excluded from having Covid vaccines this autumn? Most especially when their death rate from Covid is 3 times that of the general population?

SULFASALAZINE & FOOD POISONING - Is Anyone Else Affected?
In the first 20 months of taking Sulfasalazine I had food poisoning 8 times from food where no other partakers had any problems - 4 times with vomiting and diarrhoea (I had 2 such cases in the previous 60 years). My GP put it down to the immunosuppressant effects of Sulfasalazine making me more susceptible

Taking hydroxychloroquine but I’ve just found out that I cannot get the Autumn Covid booster with my GP
I booked my flu jab this morning and was told I was no longer eligible for an autumn Covid booster, which I thought odd as I was always invited early for other Covid jabs as well as being offered anti viral meds, if needed. Does this sound right to you? I am only taking hydroxychloquine and am just

Struggling with flare up
Since last Wednesday my asthma has flared up. I have been taking regular reliever (mart regime fostair 100/6)every 4 hrs. I have had tight chest and peak flow dropped to 350/500. Although I not making my top peak flow as my lungs are still healing from pneumonia. Now I woke up with soreness in my diaphragm

Shingles vaccine! Which one??
Hi, my wife has MF and a year ago suffered from Shingles, which still causes a little itching around the back of the head where the blisters were. She has been offered a vaccination against shingles, by her GP. There are two available, one is a live vaccine the other isn't. As she doesn't have a spleen

Shingrix vaccine and graves
hi, I was diagnosed with graves a year ago and after 11 months of carbimazole I have been taken off with a view I might be in remission. Is it risky to have vaccines like Shingrix, is it likely to cause a flare up? Same applies to covid and flu vaccines. I cannot get a straight answer anywhere and specialist

My wife recently had check up at NAC everything fine. Then gets bad chest infection also hay fever this year.
Hello, Back on September 1st my wife had her second 6 monthly check up after stopping medication for aspergillus nodule in left lung as her condition was stable.
