OSU Trial Cycle 3, Week 5
Hi everyone, I'm happy to report I got through the
venetoclax
ramp up to 400 mg without incident. I am now officially on the full regimen of meds. With the exception of the 5 remaining IV treatments, all I need to do is swallow 10 pills a day and drink a lot of water to flush the toxins out.

Regarding trial for naive patients with
Venetoclax
she was keen to get him on it if he qualifies. I think by what I've read it's due to start in a few months here in Melbourne. Thanks for letting me vent this forum is absolutely amazing and the information found here is invaluable.

OSU Cycle 3, Week 4 Update
We will raise
venetoclax
to 400 from 200 mg. Two week over week visits left before I revert to a monthly schedule! That’s it for now. Thanks for your support and let me know if you have any questions.

OSU Trial Cycle 3, Week 3 Update
This week, we escalated from 50 to 100 mg of
venetoclax
. Thankfully, they let me be an outpatient again, and it was rather uneventful. They took the standard vitals, drew blood and put an IV in. About two hours later, the cleared me to take the bigger dose and I sat there for 8 hours.

OSU Trial Cycle 3, Week 2
Hi everyone, I just got back from OSU for my second
venetoclax
escalation, which once again required an inpatient stay. It was a repeat of exactly what happened last week. I checked in at the clinic on Monday and then after that, checked in as an inpatient.

Untreated Aussies needing treatment - great clinical trial just for you
I just saw Con Tam at the Peter Mac in Melbourne today - I asked him when he thinks the trial of ibrutinib plus
Venetoclax
will open here for CLL patients (it's open for MCL and they're all doing well) and he said it's opening for treatment naieve in 3 months.

Cycle 4, Week 1 Update from OSU Trial
Today, I had blood work and the 4th of 8 obinutuzumab infusions (in addition to continuing to take ibrutinib and
venetoclax
). I am pleased to say I have officially made it through my week over week trips to OSU, and my next 10 visits will be every 4 weeks. I don’t have to go back until October 11.

Jumping for Joy
https://youtu.be/Dn_JR6h-FPw I also scheduled to take a skating test I've been avoiding for years this Saturday in advance of starting
venetoclax
. I'm not quite ready for it, so chances are high I won't pass, but it was life affirming to sign up.

Cycle 2, Day 1 – AKA Trip 4 to Columbus
The latest installment of my OSU Obin/Ibrutinib/
Venetoclax
trial adventures... Last week was just a test week, so there was nothing new to report. However, today marked the beginning of cycle 2 of 14 of my clinical trial. As I said to Stephanie, my nurse at OSU, 1 down, 13 to go.

Day 2 of Obin, Ibutinib, Venetoclax Clinical Trial
Hi everyone, I completed the second day of the trial, and I couldn’t be happier about my decision. Day 2 was “Groundhog Day,” i.e. a repeat of day 1 in all ways except we ramped up to 900 mg from 100 mg of obinutuzumab infusion. I had maybe 5 minutes of slight stomach and lower back pain, but that was
