Hydration for venetoclax
Does anyone have any advice on how much water to drink each day? Should this increase with the ramp up each week? Thank you.

FLAIR Trial 2018 update
The Flair Trial researchers think that ibrutinib with rituximab, or
venetoclax
, might work well for people with CLL who haven’t yet had treatment.

CLL Advocates Network Horizons conference just completed in Prague
A special mention to CLLPAG and Lymphoma Canada who gave an inspired talk on their collaboration to get approval for
Venetoclax
. We can learn so much and it's important to work together and share. CLLAN is a wonderful platform for this to happen.

CLL Treatment Sequencing by Dr. Susan O'Brien
Venetoclax
just had its label expanded based on the MURANO study, and that was the randomized trial of
venetoclax
and rituximab versus bendamustine and rituximab. That trial showed a clear advantage in PFS under the
venetoclax
arm.

Not even a week on Acalabrutinib and...WOW!
Venetoclax
will be added in late October to add some more big-time punch. Needless to say, I'm excited, even at this early stage. How rewarding to note a reduction in node size so quickly! Wow.

Extended Diarrhea
I am now also on
Venetoclax
for CLL. Both list diarrhea as a side effect. I don't want to stop taking either drug. I had stool samples examined at my GP's lab which came back negative. I am now on a bland diet. I have made an appointment with a GI doctor on Aug. 30. Any suggestions?

Infection, hospitalisation and future treatment with Ibrutinib or trial drug.
I am also considering the trial of Ibrutinib and
venetoclax
. However, i need to fully recover. But things are looking good after a very rough ride.

CLL
Has anyone out there started with
Venetoclax
as the first line in treatment of CLL with 17p deletion? Cannot take Ibrutinib due to history of A-fib.

Venetoclax
Started
Venetoclax
yesterday and knocked me on my butt. Nauseous, vomiting, fatigue and headache. Will see how I do today, dr is doing blood work everyday starting today. Hoping things level off, I do have medical mariguana card and ate half a candy and that helped a lot!

Clonal Evolution, mutations and resistance to CLL treatment
. --------
VENETOCLAX
===== Of course we also have another treatment option emerging
Venetoclax
in combination with either rituximab or ibrutinib. It kills CLL cells very quickly. Will it induce clonal evolution and treatment resistance?

Ibrutinib - Side effects
can't remember the name of that one properly or, I get more chemo :( I have seen some on you mention
Venetoclax
but it hasn't been mentioned to me and not sure how that works specifically. Anyway, getting ahead of myself, have to wait and see how this drug goes for a bit longer and stay positive!

Starting Venetoclax mono on Monday
We are going to give
Venetoclax
(mono) a try. Because of my past history of side effects and considering my age, my oncologist is starting me with the 10 mg tablet daily for the first month before considering the ramp up. My oncologist is recognized locally as a CLL Specialist.

Response and Survival Rates for FCR and Ibrutinib
Also in the study results we will look at in most cases people would not have had the option to switch to the newest drugs (e.g. like
venetoclax
) when their original treatment failed (because the newer drugs were not yet available).

Dr. Wiestner on Resistance and Stan Kurtz's amazing swim for leukemia.
Adrian Wiestner from the NIH concerning ibrutinib and
venetoclax
resistance. Dr. Wiestner thinks deeply about what this implies about treatment. See: http://cllsociety.org This Saturday night, Sunday morning is Stan Kurtz’s amazing 22 mile swim for leukemia. Patty and I will be on the boat.

Ibrutinib vs FCR: does order of therapy matter?
Or is it better to use ibrutinib first then move either to FCR or perhaps
Venetoclax
plus rituximab? As my CLL specialists told me, the data is clearer for low and high risk patients but perhaps less clear for intermediate risk.
