infliximab or upadacitinib
I am currently on
vedolizumab
but unfortunately after 3 years it has stopped working. I am currently in a very nasty flare and have to choose which biologic I would prefer to try next, Infliximab or a new drug called upadacitinib.

I recently changed from Mepolizumab monthly dose after 8 months and started on Dupilumab twice month. The results have been noticable by myself and others. I have far more energy now. Still coughing a little though, but I can live with this if my energy had improved. It's still early days as I have

Eosinophilic Asthma
My consultant at the hospital suggested I have this type of asthma. Apparently your white blood cells attack your lungs. I was put on a one year study and I’m now permanently on the injection once a month. In the US the brand name is Nucala, here it’s Mepolizumab.

Hi, could anyone advise re these injections please. I've had 2 so far & the last couple of weeks my bowels have been hay wire, very bad wind & also leakages. They have certainly helped my asthma but wondered if these side effects settle down. I was ok after the 1st one but this 2nd one has had a

Dupilumab and e-Asthma Part Two
Well beautiful people, this is an update on my journey with Dupilumab. Second visit this morning to the hospital for my third dose. They gave me two doses on my first visit which is the initial loading dose. I injected myself this morning as it comes in a pre-filled pen and had to wait just ½ hour this

Joining the dots......
I was diagnosed with eosinophilic asthma in 2017. I had rhinitis and nasal polyps prior to being diagnosed - I was 45 when I was diagnosed. Unfortunately despite having mepolizumab, benralizumab and omalizumab I have had little relief - eosinophils and FeNo remain high. To have a normal (ish) life

allergic to benralizumab today started on mepolizumab feeling rough
hey so after 2 stat doses of first biologics I had to go back to mdt to be discussed as was reacting within minutes each time and requiring close monitoring for 4hrs both times. So today started mepo within 5 mins same but not quite so severe I feel rubbish. They've now added benralizumab to my list

Eosinophilic Asthma and Mepolizumab
Hi everyone I have been successfully controlled by Mepo for just over 4 years. However just recently it has stopped working as effectively. I am being reviewed by my consultant. Has this happened to anyone else and if so what drug have they replaced this with? Many thanks, Corinne 😁🙏

Injections hurt.
Has anyone been on the
Vedolizumab
injections? I started them 3 weeks ago and each time I have to inject myself it hurts like a b*tch. I have the adulimimab ones before and they just stung a little but these ones are really sore and causing my skin to bruise and lump.

How were you diagnosed?
I was diagnosed with eosiniphilic asthma a few years ago - the asthma came in my 40's - breathing problems and nasal polyps. Two years of back and two to the GP saw me referred to a specialist. I was given mepolizumab - sadly it did not have the hoped for results. I was switched to fasenra which showed

Self injection query
Can anyone who is currently on Mepolizumab or Benralizumab who are self-administering help? My wife is on Benra and has to attend the local hospital every other month to be handed the self injection pen by a nurse to administer the dose herself. She has asked repeatedly if the ‘pens’ could be sent to

Another little bump.
It’s been a while since I last posted. I am once again in hospital, just another blip but the plan is already in place to hopefully resolve it. After a year on Benrazilumab, I am on the few percent of people who build up resistance to it and now it have stopped working. My eosinophils have shot back
