buprenorphine study
Just wondering what people think about the recent study below? Study population was people with opioid use disorder (OUD) who are taking buprenorphine to manage it. Apparently an unusually high percentage of participants had RLS symptoms. I thought Bup alleviated symptoms? I’m in the process of getting

Endocrinologist recommendations in/near West Sussex for Addison's / adrenals
Can anybody recommend an endocrinologist in West Sussex or nearby please who knows about adrenals and Addison's? It comes as no surprise to me, but a private blood screen has just shown very low cortisol levels and a couple of other bits, that suggest an adrenal problem, possibly Addison's. I've not

Problems with medication supplies
Hi. Since I recently swapped to home deliveries for medication, every 4 weeks some meds are missing or out of stock.I didn't have this problem when I ordered directly from the GP, changed over because I was struggling to get into town to collect my prescriptions. The messages from Lloyds Pharmacy says

interstitial cystitis
Hi, I am convinced I have got interstitial cystitis- if so… how long until diagnoses? I’ve had millions of urine samples, some sent to lab, I’ve had clear renal blood tests and I’ve had thorough examinations of down below and my back etc. is the last thing a scan? And what type? How much more prodding

Migraine and visual hallucinations
I’ve suffered with migraines for many years since I was about 11 (I’m 35 now). Anyway as I’ve gotten older they’ve thankfully become less frequent and severe (though I take propranalol to prevent). I had an attack begin late last night with my usual blind spots and visual disturbance. It was bed time

Just diagnosed this week
Hi Glaucoma community,I have been diagnosed with early stage glaucoma this week, in one eye. I'm 46 years old, female. My eye pressures in both eyes were 21 - so borderline from what I understand. I had a central retinal vein occlusion in my right eye in 2016 and saw a consultant for18 months until it

Two questions concerning RLS
1.For the past few months l have had horrendous bladder pain and l can no longer cope with that and the RLS. I am making an appointment to see my GP who knows nothing about RLS so l need some advice about treatment for the bladder pain which won’t worsen the RL S. l would be very grateful if anyone knows

Not sure what to do next
Hello. I suddenly developed loud tinnitus in my left ear 3 months ago and went to the doctors. It's a very high pitched ringing and varies between loud and very loud and sometimes has different pitches all at once like an orchestra. It's constant, 24/7. I'd had a very slight ringing for several months

Advice for Hair Loss?
Anyone have a remedy for hair loss from liver disease? My hair is falling out a lot every day. I’ve been using collagen and keratin shampoo and I’ve tried rosemary oil but nothing works. I’m gonna be bald soon 😱 Does anything work? I read that the hair loss can be from lack of protein. I eat a lot

Can’t sleep
I was diagnosed in May of this year.. Started with double vision. I also have seizures, mostly controlled. I can’t sleep hardly at all. Tried several meds, nothing. Very frustrating. I get maybe 3, maybe 4 hours if lucky. There have been some nights I haven’t slept at all? Anyone else have

Laxido and acid reflux
I swear every time I take this stuff I end up with really bad regurgitation and heartburn. Coincidence? I am on other medications.

Post op sleeping position
Hi everyone my husband is nearly 9 months post oesophagectomy with 2/3 of his stomach removed. He was diagnosed T4aN1M0 in September last year, had the op in March and is overall recovering really well. We’re so grateful that generally he’s sleeping well but currently using an OPA wedge but slipping

Rivaroxaban and PPI
To those of you taking Rivaroxaban, have you all been advised to take a PPI as well , such as Omeprazole, Lansoprazole? Maybe I should add , even though you have not been suffering from reflux or similar condition.
