Discomfort
Hi all. I'm getting discomfort in my upper abdomen. It's not pain exactly but it's uncomfortable. It's like IBS, which I suffer with, but can't take peppermint oil anymore. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it normal? It's not bloated like I had when I was diagnosed with cirrhosis. Apart from this

hair loss
hello, has anyone with decompensated cirrhosis discovered hair loss? My hair is so thin or snapped or fell out, besides eating more protein I have biotin injections but it’s getting worse, would not be so bad if I was a man but unfortunately am not!

Blood Pressure Tablets vs Glaucoma
Hi all, Does anyone have any experience with taking blood pressure tablets after being diagnosed with Glaucoma? I have moderate glaucoma in my right eye, have had a couple of surgeries (Preserflo) and have recently been diagnosed with slightly high blood pressure. I saw the Physician Associate today

Good chilly May morning 🥶
Good morning with windchill it’s 22 degrees in Pocatello Idaho that’s at least 20 degrees below average. I’m still toughening it out in my shorts 🩳 it is supposed to warm up this week 🤞🏼. Rozy is doing better pretty much healed up from surgery and ear infection 😊 I’m just about over my cold/crud

Appointment Update
Hello. Following my recent post about my dry eyes, I had my follow-up appointment on Monday nearly 4 months post right trabeculectomy & it did not go well. Had a visual field test and eye scan. No change to my right eye but my left eye continues to lose peripheral vision. The pressure was elevated even

PA and Sjogren’s
I posted a few days ago about dry mouth and eyes, but since then my early sjogrens bloodwork has come back positive. I am terrified! Is there anyone else who has AIG/PA and also sjogrens? I feel desperately in need of some hope and guidance…in particular I’m wondering if injections have helped with SS

Do you have persistent or long-standing AF?

Hi all I’m new to this group. I was diagnosed 18 months ago with tinnitus after I went the to my local Boots for hearing test and they said I had a 60% loss in my left ear, I was rather surprised. I was referred to audiologist given a hearing aid and that was that. Had two sessions of tinnitus therapy

Another experience proving we are all different
I had mentioned in a couple of my answers to posts in the group that I had been episode free for over a year, and suddenly I had two back to back episodes of AF. i didn’t remember doing anything different and in fact did not have any alcohol that day or for several days so not drinking anything can

Urinary Issues
I have had urinary issues for a long time. Urgency, frequency, retention, pain. No "incontinence" if i can get to a toilet or get the dick out to pee on the ground fast enough. Every day is a different combination of the above and I have never been able to figure out what causes each symptom or how

hi All, I wish I could cheer you up but unfortunately this is not a particularly happy post. I recently started suffering from pulsatile, tonal tinnitus , aural fullness and sound distortion in very quick succession. While the hearing test doesn’t show much change from previous ones, I am sure there

dry eyes and mouth?
hi again all! I am very depleted in ferritin and am awaiting an infusion. I also started b12 injections 3 months ago for PA but I don’t think they’ve been often enough (1x/month). Also just got diagnosed with subclinical hashimotos (thyroid levels are still normal). I’m grasping at straws trying to

Ear pain
Hello, I keep getting ear pain both sides. I have just been seen at ENT . He was more concerned about my snoring and is sending me for tests for sleep apnoea. He just said its fibromyalgia in your ears! I feel rather dismissed again. As they see your records and spot fibro, it's like an easy get out

Treatment changes - Rituximab?
Finally saw my consultant again last week. Think he was quite surprised at how swollen my hands have become and he said I'd done well to keep going. So am feeling a little more positive, though I'm battling through a lot of pain. The steroid jabs I had in my finger and thumb base seem to have given

Dry eye following Trabeculectomy
Hello I had a right trabeculectomy nearly 4 months ago & all was well until about a week ago. I have used regular lubricating drops as I have had the same surgery in my left eye that was complicated by uveitis. I have tried a variety of lubricating drops & eventually Theoloz gel was recommended & worked
