Good morning it’s a little chilly 🥶 and heavy frost this morning. Thanks for prayers for my brother 🙏 Amazing to me that you have a hip replacement and go home same day 😱 He didn’t sleep at all last night and I think the hospital would be a better place to control pain the first night 🤷♂️. Bottom

Stopping Actemra
What happens if you decide to stop taking Actemra?? Do you have flares and them have to take more prednisone?? I have to have a hip replacement and my surgeon is worried about an infection as this could be really dangerous for me. He said they would wear moon suits in surgery but he is worried about

Desperation setting in
We were waiting to move onto the next treatment (hopefully lu-177) until the
valve
replacement
which went successfully .. then all of this. His oncologist is not getting back to us and we are desperately seeking advice and sadly coming to the conclusion that hope is not to be had.

Pacemaker with a leaky valve?
At my age of 78 and diabetes I do not think I am a good candidate for a
valve
replacement
. Question...will drs consider providing a Pacemaker if I have a leaky valve.

So frustrated that endo told me my hypo symptoms are social, emotional and psychological
After 11 months I finally saw an endocrinology registrar to go over my blood test results and symptoms. I am on 150mcg thyroxine and 40mcg of liothyronine, after 7 years on NDT which I came off in January 2021 to return to the 'NHS way' of T4-only therapy (the price of NDT was becoming prohibitive plus

hi, I’m early perimenopausal at 48. I just been diagnosed with endo on my ovary and adenomyosis. I’ll try and keep this short, but after years of being on the pill with no symptoms, 10 years ago I was diagnosed with hormone oestrogen receptive breast cancer, so no contraceptive pill and 5 years of

Oestrogen only HRT
Hello. Does anyone have any experience of taking oestrogen only HRT after a partial hysterectomy? I've been recommended this,by a BSGE consultant, but didn't think that oestrogen only was a good option and now I'm really confused. I have had 4 excision surgeries for stage 4 endo and still have, now
