Hello all I have a querie. I am getting hot flushes at 64. Are there many women out there still getting hot flushes at my age? Maybe it's quite common? They are worse than they used to be. They stopped for years when I was taking HRT pills. I started Estrogen cream which has helped a little but I am

bad news
I had osteoarthritis of the right hip in 2014 and had a full hip replacement with great success. some time after that i began to get back and groin pain and was referred for an MRI. The result was herniated discs and sciatica. I have just recently had another MRI and the result is mild wear and tear,

Aortic valve surgery
My son Shane is hopefully being admitted tomorrow for aortic
valve
replacement
on Wednesday. He is nervous but in good form and realises it has to be done. We are relieved he was called so quickly for surgery as we thought a long anxious wait was ahead of us!

Surgery with AF
Went in to have knee replacement surgery last week. Got to theatre and heart rate was 140bpm so op was postponed. Problem now is I have to get AF stable before they will do my knee but having had ablation and cardioversion in the past both only lasted 4 months before going back into AF. As waiting lists

Endocarditis advice
Just a bit of a back story - when I was 5 (weeks old (1998) I had
valve
replacement
surgery and since then I haven’t so far needed more surgery to replace this valve again (I’m now 23) each year I’ve had check ups and everything has seemed to be working well enough for me to wait for my surgery.

Hello everyone. My mum has been on T3 (50 mcg) for a while (3 years).
