Doctor told me to take two extra strength Tylenol an hour before the procedure as well as one
Valium
. Also, antibiotics. Is the one
Valium
enough to calm me down as I am pretty anxious about the procedure? Has anyone else who has had these? Can you speak to your experience? How is the recovery?

PGAD relief tips
Taking sleeping tabs and occasional
valium
for the anxiety its causing. Have stopped socialising. Has anyone had botox in the vulva/clitoral area? I have done pelvic floor therapy, meditation, CBT and my doctors always say Im the first they have seen and to see how it goes in a few weeks.

Perineal biopsy with local anesthetic
Did your physician prescribe hydrocodone and/or
Valium
in addition to the sedatives and pain meds such as midazolam and fentanyl? 2. Are the needles one-time use or not? Thank you.

Problems, problems, problems
When that doesn't work, I take 550 mg of Tylenol, and later, 300mg of Gabapentin, and later a half-pill of Sinamet, and later, another, and if that doesn't work, 1.25mg of
Valium
.

Valium for the flight
I’ve heard people take a
Valium
before flight if nervous. Would that be ok on my heart meds?

vaginal estrogen and vag valium question
I was wondering if any of you lovely ladies are using both vaginal estrogen cream and vaginal
valium
suppositories. I'm supposed to insert a
valium
suppository every night (10mg) and I also insert 1 gram of estradiol cream three nights a week.

PLMD and withdrawal
Once in a while--maybe every week or 10 days--I take 7.5 mg
valium
, which does help, although I hesitate to take more because of building up tolerance and not wanting, yet once again, to wean off a benzo.

Simulation
The
valium
helped with my procedure last week-I wish I had taken some before the biopsy. Will I need to take something before the simulation, or is it pain free?

Changed my cardiologist ;)
When I expressed my concern he said “you won’t die, don’t worry about it” and gave me
Valium
. He did give me a pill called “Aspenon” which had awful side effects and led to my not being able to drive due to fear of fainting which happened twice.

Anxiety again
My psychiatrist has given me a limited prescription for
Valium
to break the cycle for which I’m grateful. I’m wary of benzos but carefully prescribed for a limited time they do help. Sometimes I’m so exhausted and tight I can barely move.

Update on Spinal nerve block
The only meds I had was 5 mg of
Valium
and lidocaine. Best thing I ever did. I can now walk a bit and stand awhile without pain. Phew. Sharing this information in the event others may be considering it.

Wake up please and you will understand.
Last year I was a mess, my ocd hit high levels but alot of that was because I came off
valium
cold turkey and it gave me a massive physical and psychological major major battle, that breakdown taught me alot my friends and I hope this will serve you well.

HNY!... and a warning for those who lead busy lives (aka all of us)
Another series of mental health tests were run and I was given the diagnosis of severe PTSD (I had a traumatic childhood), a referral to a psychiatrist, the contact numbers for LifeLine and Beyond Blue and a prescription for
Valium
to help me sleep until I could get to the psychiatrist.

SPECT scan horror
I would have prepared by getting stoned or asking for
valium
. If I had any idea how awful it could be. Had a biopsy the day before with drilling into my bones with what looked like a harbor freight drill and that was not a problem at all.

Valium
does very little. Why can I just be optimistic and functional? Why can't I stop obsessing on this? Please help if you can 💜

My Mom needs heart surgery & I'm a terrified, 47 yr old baby
I take
Valium
and Zoloft and I take extra
Valium
sometimes (not often) and it doesn't do anything when I'm in these states of extreme stress. Being at the hospital is complete torture for me. I can't breathe well because of anxiety and because I'm a germaphobe.
