Should You Get the COVID-19 Vaccine During a Disease Flare-Up?
While there is a hypothetical risk that a disease flare could worsen after COVID-19
vaccination
, the ACR guidance notes that the benefits of
vaccination
outweigh the potential risk.

Don't get too relaxed about going out because you've had your vaccination! First results show steroids and MTX damp the immune response.

My Antibody Test Was Negative Despite Pfizer Vaccine. I Am Wondering If I Should Try Another One.
I am two months into Ibrutinib, which is improving my blood counts with almost no side effects. Yay! I did not start Ibrutinib until after I was "fully vaccinated." Because I have an opportunity to travel to Palermo next month (I live in the US), took an antibody test to see what kind of protection

Hello all, I am writing to share my story. I am a doctor myself as well. My symptoms started 6 months ago. I felt difficulty in breathing while climbing stairs. At this time I consulted a doctor, had an xray which mistakenly was thought to be normal and was started on bronchodilators for query exercise

PARP Inhibitors in Prostate Cancer - Anitcancer Research - Feb 2021 - Review Article
In the spirit of our Chief Science Officer here at FPC, Señor Don Pescado, I offer up this short, concise summary article on the current status of the use of PARP inhibitors (Rucaparib, Olaparib, and Niraparib) in mCRPC. These drugs are currently only appropriate for patients with specific gene mutations

Covid-19 vaccine in tablet form developed in Italy.

My N95 mask I was wearing this morning prevented me from getting into the
vaccination
centre at Gamston because I refused to put on an inferior surgical mask. This is the last straw.

Blood cancer and Covid 19 Vaccinations
The Kings College , St Thomas and crick institute work showing that having a blood cancer seriously negates the efficacy of a single Pfizer
vaccination
is woefully small and incomplete.

Second Pfizer vaccine next week instead of end of April.
I’m extremely lucky and am in contact with a super head of the
vaccination
clinic at my hospital. She has pushed me in for an early second vaccine next week instead of end of April. Will this make any difference?

Irritation on vaccination site after 3 weeks
I had my Covid
vaccination
nearly 4 weeks ago now and have just begun to have irritation on the
vaccination
site. No inflammation, no redness. It just feels like a midge bite. Anyone else experienced this?

Antibodies after Covid-19 Vaccination?
Four weeks after
vaccination
Sean O’Neill’s antibody test for research showed no antibodies. He suggested that it was because of his medication for blood cancer.

First Vaccination Dose today
I know I need to do this. It was a huge achievement to just get the appointment. However I’m so nervous about the possibility of getting nauseous, that I’m nauseous. I know it’s nerves, got to push through. Amazing what our minds can do to us!
