Extra B12 needed post vaccination?
Last weekend I received my 3rd COVID and Flu vaccines. I had no after affects, however am experiencing symptoms that I need my B12 now. I usually SI every fortnight, however this will be after only 5 days. Can anyone suggest why the vaccines pull so much on our B12? As you may guess, I’m no scientist

My next most exciting news for the week is my second covid
vaccination
booster tomorrow and I'll be glad to tick that off the list of winter essentials. I hope that everyone has had something to feel glad about this week.

Covid Vaccine and Booster
This is just a post to share my experience with anyone that may be wondering, worried or not sure about being vaccinated during IVF. I got 2 doses of the Covid vaccine in between IVF cycles as I was doing back to back cycles of IVF. I think my second dose was 2 to 3 weeks before my final egg retrieval

Where do I go next after 2.5 years of PMR
After a nightmare 2.5 years of PMR I am at the end of my tether. In May this year I had managed to get down to 7.5mg of prednisone and had a flare after my covid vaccinations going back to 12.5mg and trying to come back down slowly when I then got covid itself. This caused another flare & I am back at

In July, after the covid
vaccination
, a couple of fairly large light-colored spots appeared on the head of the penis. After three months of treatment with clobetasol, the foreskin recovered almost completely: elasticity was restored completely, and the white spots were 95% gone.

Hard work getting vaccine
The local
vaccination
centre wants proof that I need this vaccine so I contacted my haematology dept and the response was what's all the fuss about, over 50s are getting a vaccine anyway which is OK I'm over 50 but it's my understanding is that over 50s are getting a booster and not a 3rd vaccine.

Omicron variant, antibodies, T-cells
Highlights from a short item in the BBC Radio 4 programme "Inside Science" today https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m001283q - Evidence is trickling in that neutralising antibodies produced in response to vaccines, which were developed to target the Wuhan strain of SARS-CoV2, are considerably less able

Neutropenia as a side-effect of Covid vaccine
I was diagnosed with CLL in March 2019 and until my second Covid
vaccination
in May of this year, my condition had been stable and my neutrophil count always above 4. Since May the highest my neutrophil count has got to without any treatment is 0.43.

Pfizer side affects
My daughter aged 19 had her 2nd Pfizer/flu jab together and 3 days later, had increased seizure activity and has become very aggressive and this has carried on throughout. My daughter has severe epilepsy, severe autism and severe learning difficulties. I am not sure if it was having the 2 vaccinations

LLS Ciitizen USA Study Shows Most Blood Cancer Patients Benefit from an Additional (3rd) COVID-19 Vaccine Dose
It is for this reason that the ACR Task Force suggested that optimizing the timing of
vaccination
for rheumatology patients on rituximab may yield an improved response to primary
vaccination
and supplemental (booster) dosing.”

Influenza (flu) vaccine?
While this can appear to make sense, there are also plenty of arguments to do the
vaccination
as early as possible, and the answer can really differ by individual circumstances. How about us with CLL? Should we get influenza vaccine as soon as it's available? Should we wait?

COViD Booster Side Effects: the same as the second dose
Hubby just got the Moderna booster about eight months after his second dose of Pfizer. He experienced 3 days of extreme fatigue and significantly worsened PD symptoms, kind of like his meds weren’t working. Today, he’s pretty much back to normal. This was a very similar reaction to what he had on dose

Sweet Syndrome after Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine (AZD1222) in an elderly female, SEPT 2021
After the
vaccination
, the patient had developed fever on the second day followed by the rash after about 7-days. The rash had started acutely on the hands and progressed rapidly over 1-2 days to involve her feet as well.
