Can you help?
Please be kind, and don't judge me! For many reasons I won't go into now, I made the difficult decision not to get vaccinated. As I am immunosuppressed on Methotrexate, prednisolone and humira, I have been keeping away from people for the past year - and it's been the hardest year of my life! I would

Paxlovid & Levothyroxine
I am not looking to catch COVID but as I have been shielding up to now with another illness and hopefully are going to be mixing with others soon, am likely to catch it at some point even after vaccinations which does not prevent this. I am looking for advice/experience from others taking Levothyroxine

My story - vaccines, Covid, questions and some things I've learned
I continue to wonder: Why are stats the most dismal for the countries that have the highest
vaccination
rates? Why was Africa not decimated? A friend who lived there during the height of the pandemic tells me they all used prophylactics. Why did Sweden fare so well?

nhs shingrix vaccination?
I am diagnosed with CLL on W&W. It appears Shingrix is only available to over 70’s (irrespective of health status). I am 55. It appears in the US where medical advice is not constrained by NHS budgets (cynical I know), Shingrix is recommended for the immune depressed (no age limitation) and the over

Hospitalised with covid, how long to get off oxygen and released?
Hi, I reluctantly went to the GP yesterday who had an ambulance called as I had 88% oxygen levels. I recovered with a mask and this morning so they tried me on air but I dropped again this time to 84% They put me on a nose thing but that didn't help enough and then a mask. They've changed the mask to

Chicken Pox Exposure
I’m on 3.1 mg of Prednisolone for PMR. My son has just asked us to babysit our 18 month old granddaughter, who was vaccinated against Chicken Pox ( live vaccine) 4 days ago I’m not sure if I should babysit or not. Is there any risk involved in being close to a newly vaccinated baby and if so how

Another Stressful Time
I am in this same old situation again. My wife has been giving me the silent treatment for the last 3 days. She has slept in the guest bedroom for the last 3 nights, as well. The reason for this, as far as I can tell, is that I disagreed with her that the government and corporations are intentionally

I was diagnosed with this five days after a
vaccination
which I have found out is automatically blocked on this forum. Having had no heart problems in my previous 62 years I discussed the matter with my consultant and with a GP.

covid vaccination confusion (uk only)
Thanks to everyone who supports and contributes to this site. I have read that those with CLL should have 3 primary courses then two boosters - or 2x 2 primary course of two doses then one booster. Not sure. however: Prediagnosis i had primary course plus booster so 3 doses. It appears I can only

Severe Cold, to Bronchitis; PMR has not returned
Had gotten a cold that became tenacious, as after 1 week of a head cold it progressed to my chest. A week later I had Bronchitis for the first time in my life and starting with week 3 my GP put me on a Prednisone routine of 40 mg, 30, 20, 10 over a course of 10 days. As if that wasn’t enough, she

He didn't feel that I had an autoimmune condition but probably had experienced immune reactions to the Covid 19

CLL and Covid experiences
Hi, I am 65, have relapsed CLL after FCR treatment, made no antibodies to 6 Covid vaccinations. Otherwise I am healthy and physically very active. I'm so tire of the mask everywhere and so is my wife. Can anyone tell me if they have had Covid and how it went for them? Or anyone that can

W&W for 2yrs: Congested sinuses, heavily congested ear, partial deafness.
All was going well on W&W (IgHV unmutated) until my fifth COVID
vaccination
. I had quite an aggressive reaction which lasted for over two weeks with massively swollen glands under the arm which received the vaccine. Cause or coincidence?
