Thyroid Supplements
My doctor advised me not to take L-
tyrosine
with Levo, But when the Pharmacist says it should be safe to take together. Almost all the thyoid support formulas contain this ingredient. I am so confused I dont know what is right.

Then tried, 5htp with l-
tyrosine
seemed to help better but gave me to much adrenaline but used it since I needed dopamine. Left foot drag and can only walk on toes, tremor in left hand and now in right hand but right hand I can use use and right leg is fine.

Hi all, I need some feedback on what I should do or if anyone else is experiencing this. The past 3 days I have had the worst stiff neck on my left side,I can't even turn my head to look left, the pain is deep and feels muscular. It's my trapezius and my levator scapulae muscles, they are swollen tight

T4 and, to a limited extent, T3 are produced when
tyrosine
residues in Tg are iodinated and coupled together under the action of thyroid peroxidase (TPO). Subsequent proteolysis of Tg in cellular lysosomes allows for the release of T4 and T3 from the thyroid gland into the systemic circulation.

Hello everyone! It's been a minute but I have some updates as well as asking for feedback on what else can be done to tweak. I had my year follow up in August and *knock on wood* all was well! At that time I had switched from Tirosint to 175 mcg of Synthroid only. The higher my dose of T4 alone, I

From Graves to HYPER to RAI to HYPO and now Levo
Because I was so indoctrinated by the health practitioners industry, I experimented with supplements like spirulina, L-
Tyrosine
and Ashwagandha. (This combination I now know was deadly for a Graves disease patient). I believe this ‘healthy’ cocktail was the kickoff of my future thyroid storm.

Excessive sweating.
Help please, I have hashimoto`s, I`m on half a tablet of 65mcg `Whole Thyroid` one tablet showed on my blood test that it was too much. I have excessive sweating in the trunk area, joint pain, frozen knees to my feet. Also allergic, runny eyes. Tirosint thyroid isn`t available in New Zealand
