Did anyone experience severe headaches with Promacta?
I called my nurse and she told me to just keep taking
Tylenol
. I was wondering if anyone else experienced these types of headaches when they were on Promacta. And if so, did you ever get used to the headaches or did you have to stop taking Promacta.

No Walk in the Park
Spent the weekend taking hot, Epsom salt baths,
Tylenol
and rooting for favorite football teams on sofa with hot pads. Remembered the relief and help brought by seeing an acupuncturist years ago for a back injury.

Ibrutinib and Tylenol with codeine
Beastly toothache for 4 days and extra strength
Tylenol
isn't doing a thing to cut the pain. Can I safely take
Tylenol
with codeine until I am able to get into a dentist?

Resuming Actemra... but now foot and leg pain. Any thoughts?
I am dealing with headaches that respond to
Tylenol
; my eyes are occasionally sore and feel as if a tissue is passing over them.

Be well hydrated, if aspirin,
Tylenol
, Benadryl (antihistamine) is recommended, take it. This is a very serious condition that we all have, act like it. If “YOU” have noticed me saying this before, “YOU” may have. I feel that if somebody is a distance into their ms journey this is old news.

My symptoms after upping my prednisone over six days.
For three nights I’ve had to take
Tylenol
PM to help me sleep 7 1/2 hours. I’m also in a vacation with my husband and we finally have one day where we are sitting still to rest. We have been at an altitude between 6000ft to 8800 ft above sea level. Could this be contributing to my pain?

Tylenol
does nothing for me and Advil is too hard on my stomach. I was only on it for 3 weeks because I ended up in the ER with afib. It was so scary. IV medication didn't work and I had to be shocked back into regular rhythm. I've never had any heart issues before.

ALT 125 GGT 42 ALP 48
Ps during this time I was also taking
tylenol
, advil, naproxen and at one point - morphine. So it was a bit intense. Pain went away with nerve meds. I get my blood work done and results were fine aside from high alt 125. GGT was slightly elevated (42) and ALP was fine.

Return of spinal soft tissue Mets. What to do?
I am now 58 , took a couple of
Tylenol
and went and played golf with my son today. But more tumour growth, pain and a second spinal compression could quickly stop such activities. Not sure if BAT could help. Input welcomed!!

average time for hospice care at home
He takes tramodol and
tylenol
for pain killer. He doesn't urinate as much but he will still eat a couple of meals per day then go back to bed. His mind functions fully but may be a bit foggy with his short term memory. He has lost a lot of muscles everywhere.

Surgery Update
Ice and
Tylenol
are my friends! I did take a dose of Tramadol for the pain, but yuck to that stuff.
Tylenol
works better and has fewer side effects. Did have a bit of a glitch prior to surgery. Platelets spiked to 903 a few days prior for no apparent reason. aPTT and INR were also elevated.

Bad Flare when I thought it was over
I was on 2 mg and my ra felt it was just osteoarthritis and said add
tylenol
. Big mistake I want no one to repeat. My pain was so severe I ended up in the ER for many hours on heavy drugs before it stopped my suffering. Listen to your body not the doctor.

Strange flares?
The fever is easily reduced with a single
tylenol
or Ibuprofen (which my oncologist doesn't want me to take because my liver numbers are messed up, but which my primary care doc suggested to deal with the fever and pain.) The pain is significant and often multi-layered.

Very depressed with pain and not knowing what to do
Tylenol
did not help much or the topical things either. Lately the pain has been worse in my shoulders and neck when I’m lying down.

Still wondering if it’s a flare or osteoarthritis
Tylenol
is minimally effective. The pain is worse at night and in the mornings, bending from the waist and walking. I’ve also lost weight. I’m currently on 8 mg. Pred. I didn’t have this type of pain when originally diagnosed with PMR/GCA.
