Been given a reluctant temporary increase in meds
I referenced all of the advice I was given from the kind individuals who replied to my post, that the
TSH
should be in the lower half of the reference range and that even my consultant had previously expressed that he wouldn't be concerned if my
TSH
was suppressed if T4 and T3 were within range.

Facing thyroid surgery?
The GP's only comment was that they wouldn't be able to provide blood tests as often as I'd been having (too expensive) and as it turned out, they couldn't get all three tests (T4/T3 and
TSH
) that I'd been used to having, which meant I'd only have a
TSH
reading every six months.

Flip flopping TSH and recommendations for private endo please
October my
TSH
was 0.21, meds were tweaked from 125mcg mon-fri & 150 at weekends to 125mcg 7 days. January my
TSH
5.05 but told stay on 125mcg for anther couple months. As i'm sure the reason most of us are on here, you understand my frustration and exhaustion.

my
TSH
came back as 0.07 which is under what it should be but no one has been in touch. I think they should be reducing my dosage from 125 to 100, is that right?

Frustrated at endo's obsession with TSH when other results point in the opposite direction
My frustation is really around the fact the endo reduced my dose substantially when moving me from synthetic to Armour due to thinking my
TSH
was too low, but my
TSH
crashed even further on this much lower dose along with my FT3, FT4 AND symptoms.

Transitioning from NDT to T3 (slowly) - anyone done this? Or combines NDT with t3?
My ft4 is 33%, ft3 83%,
tsh
suppressed, but I know ranges are irrelevant when going towards t3 only as they are based on Levo therapy or balanced combo of Levo and t3 (and even that's questionable then). Any advice would be really appreciated, thank you 😊 Ps.

advice with results pls.
Just had my latest thyroid panel back and all seems good except a rather low looking
TSH
, (0.12) I’m thinking gp will want to lower my dose as he mentioned it when previous level came in at 0.24. I’ve seen gp’s prefer
TSH
to be at least 0.4+ and I’m wondering what should I be doing next?

Due to my most recent results a different gp has reduced even further to 50 mg levo daily, ( does he think that something so simple will help my
tsh
level 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯. ( I actually looked back over the years and my
tsh
goes up and down quite often).

Low FT4, normal TSH
It is so stressful trying to deal with an underactive Thyroid, and my GP is only interested in
TSH
levels. I still don't feel well. Vivienne

What causes subclinical hypothyroidism?
My
TSH
just before starting meds was 4.15 and had come down by itself from 7. FT4 always around 16-17. FT3 was 5 prediagnosis. Since starting levo my prolactin is through the roof at 1500+ as is my SHBG at 200+ and my testosterone is now well below range, all of which wasn’t an issue before.
