LCHF diet .
Home made pork scratching with salad. Only thing is I eat most of them before my wife made the salad. Chirpy on the outside and soft in the middle with perfect seasoning...best in the world.

Hi all, Sorry to be here but grateful that you are here to support and inform me. I’ve been reading posts every night for a while. I’m a generally fit and healthy 62 year old guy, was diagnosed in January after 3 months of unfortunately misdirected management on prolonged antibiotics as prostatitis.

I had a massive stroke in 2009 and then two heart attacks in 2013 and 2014. I was put onto statins. Three years ago the statin I was taking was changed by my doctor. He prescribed Ezetrol. Unfortunately my medical aid would not pay for this medicine and so over and above my monthly medical aid contribution

Association of thyroid function with white coat hypertension and sustained hypertension
Yet another paper that associates thyroid issues with the heart. It isn't that long ago that 'white coat hypertension' was coined! And here we are with a possible contributory factor. [i] J Clin Hypertens (Greenwich). 2019 Apr 11. doi: 10.1111/jch.13536. [Epub ahead of print]

Today's "Report Card" 2 mos. into Zytiga/Pred added to Lupron
My husband and I saw Dr. Matthew Smith at Mass General today. Everyone's satisfied with the trend: the 1.8 PSA today dropped down from 4.08 on 2/28/19. This is nine weeks after Zytiga/Prednisone was added to Lupron on 2/9/2019. I recently added Alkaline Phostaphase data to the signature below. Here's

DR ELLIE CANNON: Is my GP on the level about cholesterol?
Here is an interesting Q&A: Q. I recently had a cholesterol test and it showed a reading of seven, which my GP considered to be within acceptable limits. I questioned this, saying that I thought anything over five was considered high. I am 63, slightly overweight, have normal blood pressure and stopped
