Did anyone have bilateral salpingectomy before IVF?
both my tubes have hydrosalpinx (the left more severe than the right) and my doctor recommended taking both tubes out before starting ivf. Wanted to see if there are any other women going through the same with bilateral hydrosalpinx

Emotional support to keep going
Hi all, I have just had a chemical pregnancy on my 2nd IVF transfer, which makes it my 4th miscarriage in 1.5 years. How do you all keep the strength to keep going? I am looking for any tips. The medication, the waiting, the taking time off work, the worrying, the sleepless nights, the MONEY... I don't

Can IVF cause endometriosis?
Hope everyone is keeping well! In my last frozen IVF transfer (my second transfer in total), the consultant found an endometrioma cyst on one of my ovaries. When one of these is found, I believe you’re automatically classified as having stage 3/4 endometriosis. But what I’m trying to acertain, is whether

Hi you lovely people on this forum! I wasn’t going to make any more posts, just been behind the scenes - getting so happy for the successes on here! It really is magical! And if you are still trying… I really do hope your dreams do come true! IVF is brutal! And I wish it was successful for everyone,

Healthy eating vs BMI
I've recently started IVF and was advised I have quite low AMH. Because of this I have tried to eat healthy to improve my egg quality. The downside to this is I have been losing weight which has brought me below the recommended BMI for IVF and I was almost refused treatment. Now I'm not sure what is

10 eggs at EC, only 3 fertilised!
Hi all, I know it only takes one, but I also know at 42 that time isn’t on my side. (I’m 42 OE, OH is 51, I know, geriatric mother!) First ever IVF round and first ever EC yesterday (Saturday 13th). I had 6/7 juicy follicles on Wednesday and another 6 just behind and retrieved 10 eggs on the day (

Loosing hope
Hi everyone - sorry, this is a long one! Grab a brew… Our first IVF round failed in February and we didn’t get any in the freezer. My OH’s semen analysis was really positive, so the focus has been on me with my low AMH levels, previous ovarian surgery and age (38). We only got 2 eggs, both fertilised

Hey everyone ,This is my first time posting though I have been a member for awhile. I am a 41-year-old single woman on this fertility journey alone. I started a year and a half ago because I had my second myomectomy, 1st one was at the age of 30—and my surgeon recommend that if I would like to have

Advice please
I had my second round of IVF recently which resulted in one 4BB embryo being frozen. FET cycle starting first week of May. I've spoken to my clinic about DHEA as I've been getting low numbers of eggs & she recommended 25mg x 3 a day. I know it takes 2-3 months to have a benefit - I asked my doctor

melatonin advice for ivf please
so I’ve brought melatonin 5mg from biovea online (I’m in the uk.) I’m hoping to use the supplements to improve egg maturity. (My dheas and testosterone levels are already near optimal levels and I still continuously retrieve a poor number of mature eggs.) This is my very last cycle and I’m now desperate

Immunologist to get recommendation letter online?
My husband and I are still searching for an immunologist who can write a recommendation letter to use intralipids. All we need is a recommendation letter to bring to our clinic with us. We are under time pressure, because the transfer time is coming and the immunologists are all full. Do you know any
