Hi, I just had my tests done yesterday 8am Last levo taken 28h before and last vit D about 18h before. Everyone always talks about the tsh levels but are my T4 and T3 correct? I can tell that I'm overmedicated now so likely to be put back on 50/75 mcg alternate days. I've been on 75 x 6 and 100 x 1 since

I'm in a blooming Levothyroxine GP pickle again
Hi, I am having a right job with GP again, my t3 & t4 came back over range when I had them tested a couple of months ago. GP wanted to drop me straight from 175mcg to 150 but then agreed with me to do alternate days & re-test which I did. These have now come back in range but the GP won't have it that

Hysterectomy date!
I have 2 questions really - the first is does anyone who has has a
total
laparoscopic
hysterectomy
give any ideas about what I might need to pack in my hospital bag (they've said it'll be a 2 night stay). And the second question is that I've been advised to try and lose some weight before surgery.

Am I overmedicated? Advice sought please
I was diagnosed hypothyroid in December 2021 and have been taking 100mcg Levothyroxine daily since. My GP blood test result after 6 weeks commencing medication: TSH 0.9 (0.1 0 - 4.0) Free T4 23.2 (9 - 22) My GP text me to say my dose of thyroxine is right as my TSH is back to normal and should repeat

Ibrance vs. Letrezol
Happy Thanksgiving I hope everyone had a great time with family and friends. Does anyone take ibrance only without letrezol? I ask because the letrezol has caused me to gain a lot of weight. I had a partial hysterectomy 2 years ago I thought since I had that I would not need the letrezol anymore. Please

ADHD and RLS
Does anyone else suffer, and I do mean suffer, from restless leg syndrome? I take gabapentin every night. I thought I read somewhere that there is an increased incidence in people with adhd. I had low ferritin levels before a hysterectomy, but I have all that straightened out now. I think without medication

Feeling full???
Hi I have a adenomyosis diagnosis and finally on the waiting list for a hysterectomy. Does anyone else get realllllllllly bloated after eating? I feel like as soon as I eat anything, I'm ready to burst out of my clothes, even if I haven't even that much. Anyone else? Just always interesting to hear

Finding a doctor that will listen
Hi everyone, my name is Renee and I’m new here. I’m not from the UK but I couldn’t find one of these groups for the US. To give some background, I started feeling more tired than usual but n my late 20’s after my hysterectomy. Gradually pain started: my back, hands, right knee, headaches, and my feet

"Low oxalate" may be the only true solution
Before you read the following please take a moment and imagine how frustrating it is for someone to have figured out a non-medical treatment for RLS and then had very little luck getting anybody to listen to him. Every day this website carries stories of needless suffering and it breaks my heart. For

Hot flashes
It’s been eight months since my complete hysterectomy. My hot flashes and night sweats are terrible. Because of estrogen fed breast cancer and being on an estrogen blocker I’m wondering if I can get relief with anything? How long can I expect This to last?
