Movicol help (again!)
I have taken a sachet of Movicol every night for the past 7 years after a rectocele repair and hysterectomy. On top of the IBS I've suffered from for 30 years, the need to take Movicol is the bane of my life because it exacerbates the IBS symptoms. I've recently had to increase the Movicol to 1.5 sachets

Post op full knee replacement questions
I had total knee replacement 11 days ago. What exercises should I be doing? Knee is v swollen, v painful! I'm trying to walk little bits throughout the day with crutches. Bending the knee is agony due to swelling.Seeing physio end of next week. They didn't give me any exercises when leaving hospital.

Help with "sick day rules"
Hello, It's been a while. I am struggling and need some dose guidance please. My normal dose is 10mg per day. I delivered Mark to hospital on Sunday for a planned Total Knee Replacement which took place on Monday morning. He's doing very well, no pain (typical of him lol) and he was discharged yesterday

Surgery with an MPN ...XXX
I just wanted to write this post to help reassure any of you that may need surgery. I've had other health problems for quite some time now, and really needed a hysterectomy...the gynae surgeons were wary, due to my extra weight and my PV diagnosis. I was told in May that they thought I was too complex

Incisional Hernia
Hi It has been two years since my Hysterectomy and I was told yesterday I have a Hernia from the operation. My oncologist said they wouldn’t do anything about it unless it started to cause me problem or interfering with the bowel. I have read that if you had a repair and then a reoccurrence where you

Hi I've just had a range of bloods done by my Gp as I'm feeling so tired and keep falling a sleep during the day. They all look OK apart from low end for calcium and my ggt liver one. Which could be because of antibiotics I'm permanently on for my cuti or my gallbladder which I'm waiting to be removed

Scared of GnRH as symptoms include osteoporosis, alopecia and hot flashes. Endo and fibroid.
I've been diagnosed of fibroid, endo and dermoid cyst. Gyna suggested surgery but must take GnRH for 6 months pre surgery to avoid blood loss and eventually hysterectomy. I'm 29. GnRH side effects scares me - alopecia osteoporosis depression weight gain. I'm a very active person, an artist and marketing

Overweight with a high BMI
I have stage 4 endometriosis and adenomyosis with bowel and bladder adhesions and cyst's on both ovaries. My consultant is really good, however he has specified that I need to get my BMI down to 35 or below before I'd be considered for a full hysterectomy (I've already waited over three years for one)
