Here we go again
After 10 years of ending my drug treatment I am having quite severe pain in my shoulders and back. I don't think I could endure another course of steroids. What pain relief can I expect ? How have others coped?

Sister not well
My sister has been having trouble with shortness of breath and a cough all week. She rang gp on monday. He said it could be a chest infection or it could be her asthma. He sent her 5 days worth of steroids which she finished tomorrow. She is not much better. It looks like ringing gp again on monday.

Going for my thrid collection🤯🤪adding luveris - anyone tried it?
Hi all my lovely friends! We've bit the bullet and decided to go for a 3rd egg collection and leave my little 2bb in the freezer! Feeling slightly mad for trying again and that I'm kidding myself but also going into it with hope and a wish! 42 is just around the corner so want my eggs harvested now.

Worse after 2 years
I had the first symptoms of PMR in the spring of 2021, was diagnosed that fall and started on steroids in October, 15 mg. My symptoms improved, but never completely went away. It wasn’t pain, but rather extreme fatigue and legs and arms that felt heavy. I couldn’t squat and I couldn’t raise my arms

Increasing steroids for dental treatment
Hi all - I have previously seen posts about increasing preds for dental treatment, is this all treatment or specific things? and does it still apply at low levels? I am having a crown fitted for a broken tooth and am currently on 2mbs/1.5mgs - DSNS! Thanks

Have just tested positive for Covid. Currently on 7.5mg prednisolone. Is it OK to take Snip twice a day or should I increase my dosage?
What I thought were standard cold symptoms - sore throat, runny nose and congestion - have turned out to be Covid. This is Day 2 and I don't feel too bad. I took a Snip last night and again this afternoon. It certainly helps but I seem to remember reading that you had to be careful taking this type

help with steroids
I’ve been on steroids for about a year and a half. I’ve also had an infusion last September due to have another one in April. Rheumatology nurse said I need to get down off the steroids. I was on 15 than 10. I’m now on five but I feel so ill. Nothing is working. Can’t do anything I’m out of breath. I

Morning cough
Hi folks hope you are all doing as well as possible. I was diagnosed with copd a few years ago and never had any real problems except the odd bronchitis flare and treated with antibiotics . In November I caught a cold and had 3 lots of steroids and antibiotics. My question is I now have a morning cough

Thyroid levels and miscarriage
hi all, looking for some advice. I’ve had hypothyroidism since 2013. I was hoping to commence an IVF cycle in March (my 3rd round for baby no. 2) I miscarried in October( not sure if this was linked to my thyroid, TSH was 1.53 before I started treatment. I was on steroids and other drugs so not sure

Pfizer jab PMR
Hi All I’ve just been diagnosed with PMR my crp was 105, my symptoms virtually disappeared after 4 hours of taking 15mg of prednisolone last Saturday and things are nearly back to normal. I was a relatively fit and healthy 56 year old female. 14 months ago I started to get aches and pains on waking

An update on my wife. With a question...
Hey everyone. I hope everyone is doing well and a sincere thanks for the time everyone took to reply to me about my wife. She finished her antibiotics Sunday evening and her phlegm has gone from luminescent green to clear. So that's a result first of all so far. Energy levels have slowly increased

*Long post* alert 📢 So, about 5/6 hours after the consultant told me on Monday that my asthma's fine because it hasn't flared since September, my body decided to prove him wrong and I've spent a week having constant mini - and one not so mini - asthma attacks.
