Does Sugar and/or Carbs Feed lung cancer cells?
In prostate cancer support group I have seen reference to Sugar as fuel for PCa -- of course in addition to
Testosterone
& wonder if this applies to lung cancer cells as well. Welcome thoughts, comments etc.

Prolactin & Cabergoline.
The activities of normal and malignant prostate cells are regulated primarily by
testosterone
. When
testosterone
availability diminishes; prolactin regulation is manifested. This is represented when androgen ablation results in the development of prolactin-dependent malignancy.

The other side of ADT
I really want to feel sexually attracted to my partner, but as much as my brain knows that I love him, but a 0%
testosterone
level and no libido, has me so frustrated. Has anyone gone through ADT and regained their
testosterone
level as well as the desire for sex.

Dementia tied to hormone-blocking prostate cancer treatment
Hormone-blocking treatment can include testes removal to reduce levels of
testosterone
, which fuels prostate cancer growth. But it more typically involves periodic drug injections or implants that achieve the same result. Most U.S. men who receive this treatment are in their 70s or older.

The Total Destruction from My Prescribed Opiates.
Then i was told after blood tests that my
Testosterone
level was zero. I had a brain scan to check my pituitary gland, thankfully all was clear, so I was put on regular hormone replacement injections.

Update on labs
Having said that, I miss my
testosterone
! I am used to the competitive fire that has been part of my identity since being a little boy. Adjusting will take time.

Chemotherapy reducing psa from 450 to 0.14 and
testosterone
to 4mo/l. Going forward with hormone treatment has uncertainties for me. Am basically on a Keto diet and trying to keep fit.

Low testosterone
Hi, I’ve been experiencing symptoms of low
testosterone
for quite some time. Low mood, loss of libido, fatigue. Loss of muscle mass. I’m a 41 year old male. I don’t drink alcohol, exercise, have a clean diet. I’ve attached my results.

PSA update -IGRT in 2016
45 fractions 81 gys. in 2016...first PSA check back then was 0.07......my last one this week 0.03....the trend has been a steady downward direction.....ED is a memory with
testosterone
in the 600`s.....VERY happy with my treatment decision....but as we all know , that could change on down the road..

Skip the injection, go straight to abiraterone
In all patients, median
testosterone
levels remained below castrate levels throughout treatment. Unlike ADT, with AA+P alone
testosterone
production recovered rapidly, within 28 days of stopping treatment.

Diethylstilbestrol when faced with "economic constraint".
I have known two men with a great response to DES without a drop in
testosterone
[T]. Both maintain high T levels & low (near zero) PSA. I wish I knew the secret. But it's clear from the response in CRPC cases that DES does more than cause castrate T levels. Something to consider.
