NDT and Testosterone
We are still unsure about the link between NDT and
testosterone
. Am I correct in thinking by taking NDT the body converts this into the
testosterone
(T4 and T3) it needs, as opposed to taking pure
testosterone
which the body can just use? Please excuse my ignorance here.

Can I discontinue Zoladex after I year instead of taking it for 2?
Testosterone
was 9.5 The Zoladex injections however have been causing me more and more discomfort: considerable weakness, weight gain around the abdomen, swelling in the ankles and lower legs etc.

5ARIs & the PCa Masking issue.
They do this by inhibiting the aromatization of
testosterone
[T] to the more potent dihydrotestosterone [DHT]. BPH-related PSA is reduced.

Radiation levels.
I was able to resume
testosterone
injections as they treat men with normal levels and my levels are below normal without them. The expected side effects have been and gone.

Luckily my partner and I had a planned month long vacation in February (OK'd by my docs) and when I got back in March I had 1.95 PSA and
testosterone
at 33 ng/dL and Xgeva injections were added to my regimen.

Question on PSA rise after starting intermittent therapy
My
testosterone
is now 200 (from almost zero) and My PSA has gone from undetectable to being detectable at 0.1 after a month. I know everyone is different, but curious to know what your experiences are with this treatment.

Let’s start from repeating all test ...again
TSH, LH, PROLACTIN, THYROID ,
TESTOSTERONE

If you were starting out today... Lupron, Firmagon or Triptodur?
I've read a bit that Lupron is slower to start up with a
testosterone
surge and higher, quicker relapse. So... Would you challenge your urologist out of the gate to try something else? Gleeson is 9, lots of mets, 120 PSA.

EAU 2019: Testosterone Slows Recurrence in Patients With Low-Risk Prostate Cancer
Testosterone
has long been regarded
testosterone

testosterone
reduction on prostate cancer was first reported in 1941. Since then, anti-

Re-sensitizing Zytiga and Xtandi
When my PSA started to go up significantly, I started a shock
Testosterone
treatment which pushed my T-level to a peak of around 1,500 ng/dl (from 20-30ng/dl). This took my PSA back down to undetectable for 7 months before it started to move again..

Enzalutamide & Abiraterone ... higher T = more favorable prognosis.
Abstract
Testosterone
plays a significant role in maintaining the tumor microenvironment. The role of the target serum
testosterone
(TST) level in enzalutamide- (Enza) and abiraterone (Abi)-treated castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) patients was studied.

My
testosterone
just started returning 2 months ago, which is when the PSA jumped. Any suggested next steps other than my plan to see someone at MD Anderson and someone else locally? Thanks.
