Ankle pain why?!!!!!
I'm in Wk8R2, so pretty far along. I haven't felt any pain so far while doing the plan except for the usual bit of stiffness. I can honestly say it's changed my life. But today I felt a slight twinge in my left ankle along the outside while I was running and it has persisted for the day. Any idea

Week 6 run 1 - not that bad =)
What a beautiful day it is!!! I think that its this glorious weather that made this run so good. I was a little nervous to be honest because I had read some comments saying that people had found week 6 the hardest out of all the podcasts, but I honestly didn't find it that bad. I actually didn't know

What would happen if I forced my finger down when it's stiff and sore and won't bend fully?
I believe this is due to
tendonitis
in the knuckles below but haven't quite understood it and have no more physio or GP visits lined up and no rheumy appt or rheumy nurse to ask either so wonder if anyone can tell me.

Has anyone else had inflammatory incidents as a reaction to ending their steroid treatment?
Both have required physiotherapy but the
tendonitis
has not really improved despite taking an additional anti-inflammatory drug. The Dr says they are totally unrelated to the CV or coming off steroids.

Has anyone been prescribed naprosyn & protium? How did you find?
I usually take difene & losec, but as I had concerns about difene, I asked rheumatologist for alternative, this s what she uses. GP, had originally prescribed difene/ diclac & losec as protector. Just curious what atinflamms / pain relief we are all on for Ra. Anyone else on this? Side effects? Gina

Becoming an Expert Patient - article 2: Knowing Your Diagnosis
Some regional pain conditions, such as
tendonitis
or myofascial trigger points, can be symptoms of Fibro themselves, but they often need a different approach to treatment than the Fibro itself. Other regional pain conditions, such as degenerative spinal discs, can exist alongside Fibro.

Not the whole truth because I've forgotten most of it!
It goes hand in had with the lupus symptoms as it means that all my tendons and ligaments are too stretchy and get over used and inflamed easily so I have lots of itis everywhere from
tendonitis
to bursitis.

Elbow operation?
My consultant has recommended an operation to clean out my elbow joint because I have restricted movement and a lot of pain. He first suggested a replacement but I don't want to go down that route too soon - hoping to live longer than a new elbow would last. Has anyone had experience of an elbow debridement

Does Tendonitis go with RA and can anyone advise re OT?
I was referred by the physio apparently with RA and 'acute
tendonitis
' in my hands/ fingers? I thought the problems were caused by inflammation to my finger joints but she said that the inflammation in joints is because of tendon trouble caused by RA? I'm confused.
