GASTRIC ACID REFLUX - Is it HCL, is it Pepsin, is it Bile and what about PPIs?
Taurine

Lots more tests following endo appointment
I posted a few days ago for a bit of advice due to persistent low cortisol and being very symptomatic despite really good thyroid results and vitamin levels. I saw the endocrinologist at the Liverpool royal and I have to say she was fantastic! I was in there for about 45 minuets so apologies if you were

Acetyl-l-Carnitine and Hashimoto's?
CoQ10, magnesium,
taurine
. Carnitine is also recommended for this so I've just got some acetyl-l-carnitine. But now I've read contrasting things - that carnitine can inhibit the absorption of thyroid hormones and alternatively that some people have not found that effect.

Right and left upper abdominal pain, anxiety and no petechiae!
Hello all, I first posted two weeks ago with some abdominal pain and what I thought were petechiae. I'm moving to Berlin next Tuesday and I was planning to leave it until then but I totally freaked out because my rash got worse and my abdomen was hurting so I called 111 (I live in Scotland) and a nurse

Period, Implantation or Miscarrying?
So I ended up having unprotected sex during my fertile time. I had cramping about 5 to 7 days after sex. I noticed lots of changes, this isn't my first pregnancy. I was moody, tired, sensitive to smells, darkened areolas ( my husband even said they remind him of when I was pregnant), and upset stomach

Its come down
HCA appt yesterday for ECG, BP check, it's come down to 143/73, had to do urine test to see if the high BP has affected kidneys, still awaiting results of that and ECG, as first lot of tablets aggravated my CFS, I've been switched to Ramipril 2.5mg

Very confused.
I haven’t had my period in 2 1/2 months . I have all the signs of being pregnant. I took a home pregnancy test it came out positive. When to see the doctor he did a urine test and a blood test. The results came back negative. But I still look and feel pregnant. What do I do??

Betrayal - Episode 2
Inflammation actually uses up your nutrients as in methyl donors, glutathione,
taurine
, glycine, etc. The importance of stomach acid cannot be exaggerated. A pH of 1.5 is necessary and if you taking acid inhibitors you can raise that to a pH of 5.0 which is the same as vinegar.

Support needed
Hello. Hopefully someone can help me. I had a lap last year and they found endo. I had the coil placed and have no problems. I occasionally have cramps but I get through them. Last night was horrendous and I’ve never had cramps like that and my legs ache so much as the top. They have eased off today

And the last months have been taking Magnesium buffered with L-
taurine
prescribed by my nutritionist. There has been slight inprovement in the nr of days/week that I get it- so it’s not as frequent.

Got my results....
GP rang earlier today, following my 24 hr blood pressure monitor, the average reading is 173/92, so she's prescribed meds (can't remember the name), I'm going for an ECG and urine testing in a couple of weeks, any advice on all this is gratefully received (my mum has angina and a pacemaker), I've already

Bladder Cancer?
So, about a month ago I went to the ER with upper abdominal pains and major blood in urine, diagnosed me with a UTI. I took all the meds, still had pain but the urine cleared. I went back again, supposedly still had the "whopping" UTI as they put it. Prescribed me different and further meds. I took 72

Occasional sudden faintness
I wasn't really sure what to call it, but the closest thing I can describe it as is faintness. Also this is going to be a long post, with as much information as I can possibly put. So this doesn't happen as regularly as it did to me a few years ago. Occasionally, I start to feel extremely faint, and
