High sugar levels gestational diabetes test negative
Hi ladies, I wonder if anyone has any advice? Every time I see my midwife I take a urine sample, and around 2 months ago a high amount of sugar was found in my samples. Since then every time I have an appointment high sugar is found. A month ago I had a glucose test and my results came back as negative

Home urine test kit
Anyone ever use a kidney disease home test kit? Supposedly they use the same dipstick procedures as they do in the doctors office. Over 90% accurate. I have one here but i'm afraid to use it lol. My gfr is 65 according to blood results. Which is considered normal I guess unless you have some other signs

Is it possible to have OC with no cyst seen on ultrasound?
For several months I've been having symptoms, bloating, nausea, back pain and pain mostly in left region of ovaries. Last week my abdomen was really tender to touch and GP sent me to a&e thinking may be a ruptured cyst due to past history. Was kept in overnight for observation and sent home following

Creatinine is 0.86 but protein in Urine found
Hi folks! Happy Saturday! I am 18 months post cadaver kidney transplant patient and I recently completed my monthly fasting blood test and urine test. I was told that my creatinine and tacrolimus numbers are great but they are concerned about protein in the urine. Has anyone experienced this before

Today's interesting molecule. Taurine.
Anyways, that paper is the one that really got my attention, but the overall look at
taurine
is that of an interesting molecule with a host of potential benefits: - - First the general discussions: http://www.lifeextension.com/Magazine/2013/6/The-Forgotten-Longevity-Benefits-of-

Urine sample - confused!
This week my rheumatologist got in touch with my gp to ask me to provide another urine sample. I did this Tuesday. I had call today from the surgery asking me to repeat it when I'm not on my period. I am not on my period and asked why the Dr thought I was and she said it was because of the results.

It failed again
I had a blood test today but I decided to do a urine test instead because I already knew it didn’t work. I have had fairly heavy bleeding for the last two days. I emailed my clinic who advised me to continue with meds. Feeling so low. I’ve had 6 embryos inside me (4 fresh and 2 frozen) and all have failed
