Feeling dizzy, breathless, jelly legs 3 hours after my dose
Hey everyone, Any ideas on this? I feel okay in the morning, okay late evening, but few hours after taking thyroid meds I start to feel tired, dizzy, breathless and my legs are like jelly. I take 86 mcg T4 and 23 T3 in Armour and synthetic T3 combined. I'm in a process of eliminating Armour and adding

How much to increase?
Good morning allI've had a few creeping symptoms recently, very irritable, less energy, needing to nap or rest more, niggles in my left hand and wrist, a morning of brain fog, a few palpitations which all seemed to come to head with very bad PMT last week when I was very tearful for a few days. I have

T3 (Cytomel): How would you fit it in these results? Or would you? And all the mistakes I have made on this journey
Don't know what to make of that but happened *I also assumed I was a poor converter because my t3 was always so low compared to my
t4
, even with Cytomel added. Obviously this
test
shows I am not..I have no idea why my t3 is so much better but I will take it!

Hi, I am pleased to have found this forum, I've already learned a lot. I had a thyroid test as I have gained alot of weight. I am so tired all the time and my mood is low. I had the test done at 12.30pm, it was a fasting test as was being tested for diabetes too. TSH: 2.72 mu/L (range 0.55 to 4.78

Thyroid Madness continued
Well, I won't be multi-dosing again unless it synthetic T3 and T4. I'm at the YMCA and I'm very unhappy with the shape of my body. I gained weight around my middle. I don't think my legs look this bad. Maybe I'm in denial. However,, I would like to add T3 to my NDT if I could. I don't believe I'm going

Climbing TSH What should I expect to happen treatment wise
I have had a variety of thyroid blood tests done over the last 12 months. The First few showed subclinical hyperthyroidism. Then one test recently showed subclinical hypothyroidism. I don’t feel like myself. I have no get up and go at all. I’m either uncomfortably hot or uncomfortably cold. I

T4/T3 combo v T3 monotherapy
Hello, can someone fast track me towards content to considerations of T4/T3 combo versus T3 monotherapy. I am trawling Dr Google and found many references but nothing specific. Context. Good news after 4+ years struggling on Levo and a steady downward spiral in 2023 I took the plunge and self trialled

Do you ever get properly well with hypothyroidism?
I’m a youngish person and just feel I won’t have decent quality of life ever again. I used to have a career I adored, was self employed, had hobbies, felt happy etc and now I just feel like I have nothing as it’s all stopped. If anything things have got worse on levo, no matter my doseage and adding

TSH Level
Over the last 6 months my gp has been lowering my thyroxine. He doesn't tell me what my levels are just that they're all over the place! Since Christmas I have been on 100g thyroxine previously on 150g. I am having an unrelated procedure in hospital this week and last Monday got a cc letter saying my

After getting my results doctor has advised if you take thyroxine the NHS will only
test
TSH now. My old doctors used to do
T4
and TSH. I could never get T3 done. On a positive note new doctor did do my B vitamins which I’ve never had done before. Anyway they said they are all normal.

Do I have a Thyroid problem?
Firstly, both my late parents had thyroid problems and I was diagnosed with a small benign growth on my thyroid a few years ago (which hasn't been checked since). My eyebrows have hair missing on the outer edges, I have a permanently croaky voice, can't lose weight and feel like I have a lump in my
