DI02 Gene test
As if I hadn’t spent sufficient thousands on trying to find the answers I went and did a DI02
test
to see whether I had difficulty in converting
T4
to T3. Primarily to present my findings to the endo in the hope I may get Liothyronine on the NHS.

Worsening insomnia can anyone help?
I’ve recently reduced my Levo dose because my T4 was 93% through the range and I was having palpitations. I was on 100mcg so now on 75mcg 4 times a week and 100mcg 3 times a week. Energy wise this is actually the best I’ve felt so far. Unfortunately the insomnia has worsened in the last few weeks where

Bradyarrythmia
I had an ablation almost 4 years ago in feb 2020. Since then I have rarely had any arrhythmias, that is until now. They started out of the blue almost two weeks ago and are constant. However , they are not like before, this time the average beats are 60 per minute. They go as low as 42 and as high as

HelloNot sure what these blood
test
result means TSH 5.1 FREE
T4
11.8 T3 5.4 TPO 105 Been told by GP will retest in 3 months due to positive TPO result. Had a neck ultrasound and thyroid was swollen hence the blood tests. Does a positive TPO result confirm an auto immune disease?

sore gums anyone?
Good morning everyone just a quick query, each time I reduce my T4 I find I get sore gums and sometimes ulcers in my mouth. Happened about 4 or 5 times. Have any of you had this problem? Also knocks my insomnia into another gear.

statin or not
I have taken thyroxine for over thirty years. I have high cholesterol of 7.6. The ratio is now 3.6. My doctor wants me to take a statin. Rosuvastatin, which I note is not to be used if thyroid is low. He thinks my thyroid is good. But I am not so sure. I have many problems I think caused by it, bald

no help🥺
Recently raised Levothyroxine to 75mcg per day, from 50mcg. Still tired, can’t exercise. Only keep my job as I work from home, which is going to change soon and I need help. Been like this since 2014 and always told tests normal NFA. Paid for my own tests and found T4 low. Finally after years of trying

My ERFA delayed in post, not sure what to do.
Hi I am currently taking one grain of ERFA split dose, and 100 mcg of thyroxine daily. I used my last ERFA today, and my new tablets seem to have been delayed in the post and haven’t arrived.. I’m not sure what to do tomorrow and until they arrive. Should I increase my thyroxine dose? I have

Thoughts!
So I have been looking into lots of way to healing the thyroid and coming off the thyroxine. Has anyone ever successfully managed to do this. I have been following and reading a lot of information from Gary Brecka who is a biologist and does a lot of work on thyroid function. I have started supplements

On a T3 trial need advice
Please can you advise what times I should take my T3 dose the day before the
test
? I know not to take my
T4
on the morning of the
test
but I’ve read on here that T3 should be 8 hours before it, I don’t know how to take my doses the day before because I only have 2 x 5mg a day.

IBS disproved
GP kept saying I had IBS and I kept disagreeing. A thyroid test came back borderline for low thyroid and one GP said we can try you on thyroxine and see if that works. Started on lowest dose and increased to next level. Toilet habits became normal and I have had no more bloating. I have no more symptoms
