Help and Advice
I have been suffering some time now ( years perhaps ) with debilitating symptoms such as exhaustion, puffy face, coldness, constipation, dry skin, hair shedding, muscle aches and more recently severe numbness and pins and needles in my hands. I thought this may be the onset on menopause as I am now

Anyone here on hydrocortisone and thyroid meds?
Hey all, Started hydrocortisone trial today as I'm having trouble tolerating thyroid meds and my morning saliva cortisol was 7% range, early afternoon was 9%, the rest was good. Any success stories? How much hydro do you take and your thyroid dose? I'm currently just trialling hydro, 10-7.5-5-2.5 mg

t3 friendly md in the USA.
I am about to lose my t3 only doctor due to retirement at end of this year. I can’t travel but does anyone know of a MD in the US, that will give you t3 only? I cannot convert T4 at all and many, many years of trying but it goes to massive numbers of Reverse T3! thank you,

Thought on T3/T4 dosing
Hi there I'm just reading Antonio Bianco's book - I've know it's been commented on here before. I'm looking for people's views on his suggested T4/T3 dosing . He quotes Wilmar Wiersinga, the clinician-scientist at the University of Amsterdam who suggests dosing should look like this "If you are taking

Ferritin dropping, FT3 is not great
Hello wise ones. I'm coming up to a year since a diagnosis of Hashimotos, and on Levothyroxine. I've been trying to get the dosage increased in tiny increments of 12.5 ug after each blood test. So far I've been successful but it feels like slow progress. I'm currently taking 87.5 ug daily. My doctor

Doctors visit post blood tests
Hi. I have just been to the doctor's to discuss the blood results I recently posted on here. I'm getting celiac test done and he has put me on vitamin D. He said to take a multivitamin to improve my folate level. He thinks my symptoms are down to taking too much levothyroxine, he said I should reduce

What causes subclinical hypothyroidism?
My brief history: Diagnosed subclincal last year and have felt persistently awful on all doses of levo (25-75mcg) and 75 pushed my t4 slightly too high. The side effects of it have been debilitating and in many ways I feel worse taking it. 25mcg puts my t4 at around 18 which seemed high for a tiny dose
