sleep ( or lack of)
I’d love some tips on what success people have had with supplements and adaptogens for sleep. I’m on Levo , have been for years and just started t3 in addition. I used to be a great sleeper but since going into peri menopause I wake up and am wake for hours.

medichecks female hormone plus thyroid test- taking on day 3 difficult and they aren’t very helpful
I’m taking a day 3 sex hormone
test
with thyroid add on which will
test
antibodies,
t3
etc. this is the most cost effective way of testbig both. In addition they test more of the sex hormones that thriva so makes sense to test like for like against what I had tested last time.

Endo recommendations?
Please! Can anyone send me (via private message, do not reply here please) recommendations for a private endocrinologist who has a record of prescribing NDT or T3 and won't baulk at suppressed TSH. Does such a specialist even exist?I think I'm moving towards being prepared to self medicate if it doesn't

hormone advice for my daughter please
Hi everyone, hope it’s okay to ask for advice for my daughter. Shes 25, has hashis and has been taking thyroid meds for around 11 years now and is currently on 100/125 levo on alternate days. Over the past few months, she’s lost all of her hair and has been having problems with her periods as well

HR sleep graph... interesting
So my new monitoring ring has shown me loads of new information about the ups and downs of my body 😬 and has opinions on most things! Last nights sleep graph HR (much the same all week) which ideally ought to be hammock shaped for maximum r & r.... so I'm going to move my 10pm 5mcg T3 to earlier in

T4/3 combo
I’ve been taking Armour Thyroid for over 20 years. Previously on NHS but we moved house to a different area and new GP wouldn’t even discuss it. Armour Thyroid is now very expensive and not easy to obtain. I’m concerned about the long term importing and prescribing issues. Long scenario but now under

Has anyone felt worse when first adding T3?
Hello All, I've recently added 5mcg T3. 6 weeks later I felt awful (exhausted, brain fog) and blood test confirmed my T4 had lowered so I increased my levo from 137.5 to 150 and kept the T3 at 5mcg. At the same time, I increased my estrogen, which I now know was a mistake to do at same time because

Fatigue, coma naps and pituitary
Hey everyone, Has anyone experienced such bouts of fatigue where you fall asleep and you just have to fall asleep that given moment and you are gone for an hour? This started happening to me in July last year, but got increasingly worse over time. I thought it was my iron, but I fixed that with iron

T3 only treatment experiences please
Hello, Looking to hear from anyone that has tried t3 only treatment? It’s been suggested I try it. I have PCOS which can cause thyroid hormone resistance which maybe explains why T4 at any dose causes awful issues and my t3 doesn’t budge at all. My t4 before starting levo has always been fine &

Another iron IV/hydro post - been in hospital last night
Hey all,I had iron infusion on Monday. During it, I had anaphylactic shock (tight chest, couldn't breathe) and was injected with 100 mg hydrocortisone (thanks to this, they were able to finish the IV). I woke up on Tuesday morning feeling incredibly warm and with a lot of energy. My vision got sharper

T4/T3 Combi Overmedicated Help Please
I posted yesterday about my recent feelings of overmedication but didnt get many replies. Its just symptoms, not blood tests, but had palpitations, fatigue, fast heart beat, shortness of breath. Was on 150mcg Levo and 12.5 T3 daily. Also added daily selenium which might have complicated things. Cut
