Hello 🙂
I have tried the brown inhaler (sorry I forgot the name of it) and also
Symbicort
but neither has helped me. I have been told by the Dr its Asthma related but no firm diagnosis. I have been waiting for a follow up appointment for nearly a year now!

Symbicort
Just wondering if anyone had experienced throat problems with
Symbicort
,specifically a tight sensation and difficulty swallowing.

Hay fever suggestions appreciated
I have been prescribed
symbicort
(red inhaler), as other 2 inhalers were not helping. I have been on the
symbicort
for 10 days and it has limited effect. I have never smoked and used to undertake triathlons, but struggle to do any real exercise now, as I cough and can not get breath.

Since then, I (religiously) do my
Symbicort
and occasional sinus cleanses, and the vasculitis pops up, fairly frequently. I'll get a sudden blood spot - that grows - looks horrible (of course, in prominent spots!), etc. Now, my right shoulder & neck area are SOOO sore!

Combination inhalers
Doctor changed to
symbicort
200 and whilst I do now have a voice my breathing is far worse. Does anyone have similar experience or experience of alternatives I could chat through tomorrow to try and make life easier?

Update since last one when sleep was being murdered...
I've had a couple of wobbles in the past month but generally I am improving at long last (and the feet and leg cramps I had when on
Symbicort
are lessening.....co-incidence??). Something I do want to ask - don't know if anyone else has this or can suggest something...

symbicort 400/12
Does anyone else have trouble opening the
symbicort
400/12 inhaler for the first time? Have noticed over the last year or so that they have become more difficult. I'm 72 and have to get my husband to open which he doesn't find that easy. The last time I had to open a new one my husband was out .

Daughter Age 7 daily struggle
She is currently on 200
symbicort
, 5mg montelukast. She was also recently prescribed a nasal spray but had a reaction to that - GP said too much steroids together. Since 23rd December 16 She has had 2 weeks of no symptoms. Her symptoms are a wheeze and a constant cough.

Worsened "Asthma" after eating/drinking
I wake up wheezy and now take
Symbicort
200/16 x 3 times a day but still get wheezy. Has anyone else ever noticed a link with Asthma and food? I've had allergy tests done and ok with all but cats, dogs, dust mites and hay fever. Many thanks in advance. Jo

Steroids - to take or not to take
I'm on
symbicort
SMART 200/6 2 puffs twice a day, plus 10g montelukast. A couple of weeks ago I got a bad cold, which immediately affected my chest.

Another newbie
Before diagnosis has
symbicort
, then Modulite first without then with a spacer. Now back on
Symbicort
and making progress. Also being more dedicated with meter.

Review and Spirometry Test - Result.
The Ventolin is back on having been left off on my last visit and
Symbicort
200micrograms continues. So after many years of disinterest in my breathing difficulties, apart from thousands of repeat prescriptions, I'm now getting the full monty.

When to worry about a cold
I've had about 5 puffs of
symbicort
as a reliever today, which hasn't done a lot to relieve the symptoms. I don't really feel like talking a lot or doing anything vaguely energetic that'll get me out of breath, but other than that I don't feel too bad.

Advice greatly appreciated.
My
symbicort
, and Spiriva. 2. Ventolin don't work anymore. I use oxygen, I see my oxygen nurse every six months, that is the only input into my Emphysema. I send for a repeat prescription monthly. I was diagnosed type2 diabetes 18 months ago, was given Metformin and that was it.
