Just thought I'd get this out of my system - no reply really needed.
Bloods taken - tested for
swine
flu
too! Results all came back clear. Diclofenac prescribed and allowed home. Over the weekend, DD is heaps better but my elephant made a re-appearance. Putting down to stress and hoping he goes away without any fuss. Last thing I need is a visit to A&E myself.

Adult Onset Flu after Chest Infection and Flu Vaccine
He said no, everyone had private insurance and there are no beds and there are so many severe chest infections and
swine
flu
cases still around that the hospital is full!!! So I felt unable to go to hospital because then I might pick up an infection and then be really serious!

anyone recommend subcut?
RBH have suggested trying a steroid sparing agent before subcut but I am having probs getting my head around the idea, especially with the current
swine
flu
situation.

swine flu and asthma
I hav e been off work for 5 weeks with
swine
flu
. Since contracting it I have had really bad trouble breathing and my gp has said she thinks the
swine
flu
has left me with permanent damage to my lungs and tubes and she would be put me on the asthma register.

Attendance Management Meeting
Returned to work on Wed after
swine
flu
and exacerbated asthma to be hit with a really horrible and strong worded letter to inform me that I have a meeting with HR on Tuesday about my attendance as I have breached acceptable levels for a probationer.

Swine Flu Madness
I have just seen on the news that staff at A&E, working with children, the elderly and in intensive care are being prioritised for the
swine
flu
jab. I thought people with lung conditions were at higher risk so why are they not vaccinating people who work on chest wards! Bex

Swine Flu Risk in asthmatic children
My son goes to a nursery where they have had their first case of
swine
flu
confirmed. His asthma is seasonal & he is usually on his preventer from Autumn through winter. With this added risk, is it worth me putting him back on his preventer now??

I feel as though my tics are coming true, I have been known on occasion, particularly on public transport to shout “I’VE GOT
SWINE
FLU
” nothing quite so interesting but a dose of normal flu that has resulted in a chest infection, a week and a half later and I’m still coughing myself silly.
