Very mild exercises causing bronchiectasis exacerbations?
. (* By mild exercising I mean that during the exercises I had no or little breathlessness -- e.g. running just for a few minutes or
swimming
for less than 200 meters) (In case you want to know more about the details of my case, I have a longer version posted on the hub of "Bronchiectasis Support": https

Think I have pudendal neuralgia. Ways to exercise with pelvic pain?
I've heard
swimming
is a good form of exercise for PN, however not possible with
swimming
pools closed at the moment. I hope to give it a try when they reopen. I also am not a good swimmer though so may need some lessons. Not sure if they arrange adult lessons for people with chronic pain..

And we did see a pair of swans, the male
swimming
up and down on watch and the female was just a head sticking up from the rushes so probably on a nest so that was cool.

Swimming to maintain fitness during hot weather?
Is there a rough equivalent in
swimming
of e.g. a 5k, 10k etc. run, or is it more e.g. 30 min
swimming
= 30 min run? Curious to see if anyone else is mixing in other activities! :)

Week 9 Run 3 Done ššš„³
I definitely want to keep this up even after the
swimming
pools reopen. Hope everyone is doing good. This forum has a real positive vibe and such a good place to come for support, advice, hear about everyone else's C25K journeys. Anyone thinking about doing this plan just get out there and do it.

Ibrutinib and Swimming
Will be asking my MD, but wondering if anyone has experience with this. Just started ibrutinib, is it safe to swim in my backyard pool?

REMISSION!
Pilates,
swimming
and walking were the only exercises I could handle. Some days I would have to drag myself to Pilates but by the time I left I felt fantastic. My doctor believes Pilates was essential to protecting my bones which I reversed osteopena!! Hire a nutritionist if you can!

OMG! 25 minutes!
I've hated running since school days but lockdown forced me out of the
swimming
pool and to invest in a semi-decent pair of running shoes. After a false start in week 1, when in going to quickly I knackered my calf muscle, here I am! Officially a runner it seems š Who would have thought it?

Week 7 Run 2 shambling continues!
I must admit the first bit of the run my inner critic mocked and we discussed
swimming
v running then the remainder of the run I seemed to be supported by some pigeons.

Slow weight loss
I lost 5.5 stone six years ago and was pretty fit
swimming
50+ lengths 4-5 times a week and walking5-6k 2-3 times, till my heart failure and now AF in January, so I do know what I need to do but it does not appear to be working. Could it be my meds? Bumetanide, bisoprolol, lisnoprol and digoxin.
