Looking for advice please!!
For context I have had a normal ultrasound which has made me feel like a ‘fraud’ for having the
surgery
(even though I know it is not always visible) and question putting my body through
surgery
when my scan was normal.

A Win for the NHS - today at least & Questions for you
Pharmacy has the prescription so Hubby on his way to collect - my score for NHS service today - 9/10. 1 point deducted for the anticipatory stress in even thinking about needing to call the
surgery
but after today’s experience, if repeated, next time 10/10.

I've phoned over to our
surgery
and told them and am awaiting a reply. I am a born worrier but he is so precious to me. This must have happened to others on here? - any advice would be extremely welcome. Many thanks for reading my post.

Poor communication or misunderstanding?
I saw my NHS Consultant on Monday about my leg pain and inability to walk when flaring and we discussed my
surgery
etc and I left the appointment feeling pretty deflated.

Early embryo transfer (Day 1 transfer) 2WW
The cycle before this I had endo
surgery
and the one before that I had 1 embryo that made it to day 5 and was top grade. I couldn’t have that transferred as they had to go through the uterus to get to my left ovary so there was a risk of infection.

DOAC - changes
At her previous
surgery
, they prescribed Edoxaban ahead of others. I did ask, and she said it is slightly more expensive, but not sufficiently so to be a problem. I seem to be doing OK - without repetition of any previous side effects.

PIP AWARDED 😁
Consultant said maybe I'd benefit from
Surgery
, so he has now referred me to a surgeon and we'll go from there. Hope you all had a good Christmas and have a happy 2024 with more pain free or at least easier days than this year. F 🤗

Post-surgery essentials
My wife is due for her
surgery
on the 26th of September and I wanted to start getting together some things that may help her before and after
surgery
. Is there anything anyone can think of that they didn't expect to need but ultimately wished they'd had sooner?

Total Hip Replacement Decision
I want to try to find out if my bones can take this
surgery
. I have no idea if that is even a possibility. Have you had a total hip replacement? What was your experience, what precautions were taken? Thanks so much!

Does anyone have any particular tips for preparing for
surgery
and then advice for post op?? Ive already had suggestions about comfy loose pjs / nighties, peppermint tea and a post

Ischemic Cholangiopathy following liver transplant.
Hi All, I wonder if anyone on this site has been diagnosed or had a family member/friend receive a diagnosis or ischemic changiopathy following liver transplant
surgery
? I received an urgent transplant in December 2022 and recovered well up until April/May when the problems started.

Endometriosis Journey
Finally had my robotic
surgery
done in May 2023 and was placed on zoladex for 6 months. Stopped my zoladex in October and period came back in December. Now planning to start trying for a baby. I will be turning 36 this July and hoping to have our bundle of joy in my belly by then.
