CP and Endometriosis?
I had a laparoscopy, and I was told I had scar tissue from "a previous
surgery
", only I'd never had
surgery
! Turns out it was endometriosis, which causes scar tissue.

I know I’m asking on the wrong page maybe….
Unfortunately it showed that the pins & needles in his arm proves to be cervical stenosis & he’s been advised that
surgery
will be his best option.

Not sure of next steps after recent endometriosis diagnosis
At the gynae appointment they said they wouldn't recommend
surgery
to remove the cyst as there is a risk they would have to remove my remaining ovary. The other options were the pill and an injection to temporarily start the menopause.

Out of town prostatectomy
I suspect a local urologist would be hesitant to follow up on a patient whom had his
surgery
done by someone else.

Half mg tablets
After a very long time cutting my one mg tablets in half I was telephoned by my
surgery
yesterday asking why I didn’t request half mg Pred? My rheumatologist had contacted the
surgery
to ask them to supply me with them.

Should I stop aspirin before non cardiac surgery.
I am due to have
surgery
for a hernia next month and have had conflicting information as to stopping the aspirin on the run up to
surgery
. Has anybody else on here had to go for a non cardiac operation following their heart attack and what did you do regarding aspirin?

Sometimes I think no one else gets it :( I was lucky to get
surgery
on Wednesday. This is my third
surgery
but I really was so so poorly afterwards. I’m feeling lonely, tired, emotional and in pain.

Primary Peritoneal Cancer
After consulting with onocologist and gynecologist/oncologist it was decided to do 3 rounds of chemotherapy then debulking
surgery
followed by 3 more rounds of chemo. After first 3 rounds I had a very positive response with major shrinkage of tumor.

Bevacizumab v Niraparib
I've had chemo/debulking
surgery
/ chemo, and have just come to the end of the post
surgery
chemo. I've been told all along that I will continue with Bevacizumab as a maintenance treatment (I've had 3 rounds of it alongside chemo, 2 before the
surgery
and 1 after).
