Surgical removal of ovaries and fallopian tubes
Hi,I've just seen a consultant and due to have
surgery
to remove my ovaries and fallopian tubes. I'm nervous about the surgically induced Menopause this will bring about. Has anyone had this
surgery
, and if so, how were the symptoms afterwards? Thanks in advance for sharing.

Trying again after surgery
Has anyone had any experience of this
surgery
and how long they waited to start trying again? They told me that after a few weeks I can go about my normal activities but I'm assuming I need to wait longer before trying again but no one actually told me that. Thanks

Surgery vs SBRT Cyberknife
Both said
surgery
or radiation are good options, but RO recommended
surgery
based on Hubs age, 59 and otherwise healthy, and also said if he has recurrence or develops a secondary cancer, radiation would be off the table in the future after SBRT.

ocular migraines after surgery
Hi all. I had aortic valve replacement along with resectioning 5 months ago. Things have gone well. The first month I had a lot of ocular migraines which I attributed to the opiods. However, I'm no longer on the meds I'm still getting regular migraines. I'd say weekly, sometimes a couple a week.

Running after Retinal tear surgery
Hi everyone, I've had two retinal tears to my right eye in the space of 10 weeks and have had subsequent laser
surgery
for both tears. With the first tear, I waited at least 5 weeks, before I went back to running and had experienced my second tear at work and not whilst running.

asking for a friend (really) oncologist referral Chicago or Mayo Rochester
Had a call from someone diagnosed last week (Chicago) being pressured to have
surgery
immediately (Gleason 3 + 3). Two questions, at time of diagnosis prior to
surgery
, would you recommend consulting medical oncologist and radiation oncologist or other path?
