9 weeks post-circumcision, still scab
I’m almost 10 weeks since circumcision surgery. Stitches have all dissolved and there haven’t been any issues during recovery. I’ve begun masturbation again but I’m yet to have intercourse. My scab along the incision line gradually came off a couple of weeks ago, but since then some new scab has appeared

Prostrap & dry eye
Hello, I’m on month 5 of prostrap with tibolone whilst I await excision surgery for endometriosis. I’m experiencing the worst dry eye / blepharis. In having to cleanse my eyelids, hot flannel massage, eye rinse, and drops and then eyelid cream multiple times a day and it’s really getting me down.

Vein mapping today
Well they wanted me to come back for vein mapping on a non dialysis day so we went in. Basically same results...my veins are tiny and probably won't support a fistula so a graft is the next option. I'm waiting for the surgeon to review the file and give me a call. At that point they will schedule

update on knee pain
As most of you will probably know, I injured my knee on holiday at the end of June, when my knee would buckle. Over the months Drs have always been more concerned that my back or pelvis was injured with a fall in the shower, due to the knee buckling. I had CT scans and MRIof the spine and pelvis, but

ZERO stamina 3 years after AVR
I had a calcified bicuspid aortic valve replaced about 3 years ago. (11/03/2020) The doctors said I would feel much better and have increased stamina after the surgery, but that never happened. In fact, it was just the opposite. And yesterday confirmed my worst fears; I went to the county Fair and

Elevated Vitamin A in serum with no supplements
Hi, And sorry, this may not be the right place to post this, but in a recent blood test my serum vitamin A level was registered at 99.5mcg/dL with the lab's reference levels between 30 and 80mcg/dL. I've had vitamin A tested only once before in April last year and it too was high at 99.3. Does anyone

change of Levo from Accord/Actavis to Vencamil
I posted back in August about 100mcgm Accord/Actavis levothyroxine as I was feeling pretty awful. My Blood results showed that my T4 result was only 32% through range. Normally it would be around 65% through range. I also take 15mcgm Sigma Pharma liothyronine. The result for T3 was 83% through range

On statins and why I’m glad I said no.
Our local GP surgery recently put out these messages to their patients:- We are contacting you regarding your statin medications. There has been recent guidance about a very small number of reports of new-onset or aggravation of a rare condition called myasthenia gravis. Symptoms include drooping eyelids

How many days can I miss my Ticagrelor, 2 months after HA & stent?
My cardiologist has changed my prescription from ticagrelor to something else (I think he said clopidogrel). Unfortunately between delays his end & now delays at the GP surgery the pharmacist still hasn't had the prescription. I've got one day left of my ticagrelor and I've left messages with the GP
