Steroid Injection in Knee - Mobility
I have been in a "significant flare" since September 2019, my consultant's words. My consultant was off for a year so I was seeing different doctors, they did give me a course of steroids and a couple of steroid injection put me on leflunomide. None of these worked, I already have been on all DMARDs

First rheumatology steroid injections today and nervous bevause of coronavirus!
I'm 20 years old and feeling very anxious about my upcoming hospital appointment as I have recently had the flu and am still recovering but I'm meant to be starting my steroid injections today. With all of this growing concern surrounding the coronavirus I'm scared as I know this weakens your immune

Contact with rhuemy nurse
I rang the medical secretary for rheumatology today as not been able to get back in touch with rheumy nurse and no facility to leave a message. Spoke with medical secretary and got a call back from rheumy nurse this afternoon. Saw rhuemy nurse a few weeks ago and had a steroid injection a few weeks ago

They’re not all bad!
Saw a GP at 8am about my one sided pain. Hadn’t seen her before but she had great listening skills. Decided on x-ray to start with of right shoulder and neck to rule out any OA and booked for steroid injection for trochantic bursitis. Legged to it to x-ray department ( well ok it was actually a hobble

Shoulders
Hi everyone hope you’re all as good as can be. Well today I went to ARI and had the steroid injection and to my utter amazement, it wasn’t too bad. What can I say, I’m a wimp. The anaesthetic has worn off so pain killers it is 🥴. Waiting on a physio appointment now, and once my left shoulder is good

Weird presentation of alopecia
Hi guys, Sorry this is my first post, I haven’t known what to say in the past but my alopecia seems to have gone into overdrive. I’ve already had steroid injections earlier this year, then suffered a bout of telogen effluvium which took about 60% of the hair I had left. I am looking hot ;). In the last

Update 2
Hi warriors.. Again 😁 The rheumatology nurse phoned me yesterday and said they need me in tomorrow (Friday) for a steroid injection and to start treatment. She mentioned sulfasalazine and maybe another dmard. Hoping this works well and I can get back to work soon, but still really worried about doing

Injection of hope
Just had a call from HaH to arrange delivery of the first batch of Benepali on Monday, with my nurse visit to teach me how to inject. Really Impressed with the speed it will less than a month from Rheumatology appt to nurse. I hope this works I’ve had to request another steroid injection as I was struggling

Wider area pelvic pain - vague!
HI, new to this forum. I have Ischial tuberosity (sit bone pane, but not bursa, it's like sitting on bone) and glute pain. Mainly down one side but not always by any means. This effects the lower back and feels horribly awkward and often painful to sit or walk etc. I cannot walk far or drive far etc

Cramp
Does anyone have constant night cramps? I had a big flare 3weeks ago & the lovely rheumy nurse gave me a steroid injection, since then I’ve had the most painful cramp in both legs & feet. The flare has died down, but the cramps have got steadily worse, have upped my water intake, eaten bananas, tried

New Month Same Plan.
Got through February somehow,10 hours trotting and not my Jan 15hours. Have not managed to increased my build up run of 11k. But hope to get back to the HM distance during and by March. Feeling more comfortable since dropping the gym that my house and garden projects will suffice and satisfy weekly strength

Shoulder pain
Hi everyone, a few of you will know I’ve been struggling with severe pain in both my shoulders. I can’t lift my left arm above waist height and my right arm is slightly better but not much. I can’t sleep at night as I can’t get comfy as can’t lie on either side. So am looking like a zombie with black

Feeling so low at the moment
I truly don’t know what is a matter with me right now. I am usually a bubbly positive person but this last month I am slowly but very surely losing the motivation to do things. I have recently been treated for low vitamin D and a flare up. The pain is better than it was but still having to take maximum
