Hi its me again Yesterday I went to see the surgion and because of my cfs and fibro and general health I cannot have my knees replaced and I am borderline diabetic and at least 6 stone over weight. Am very anxious as I have my neuro appointment at 4.10 this afternoon. I asked for this as when I saw a different one last year who said I had hemi-plegic migraine and that why I had the symptons I have-left sided weakness joint and muscle pain extreme fatigue pins and needles and burning sensations

Update on stopping medication!
Thank you to those that replied to my original question, I am now off all meds for a month having failed to tolerate mtx and sulphasalazine. Waiting to have a steroid injection to ease the aches and pains. I have an appointment 8th August to discuss what's next consultant has sent me leaflets on Leflunomide

So angry, frustrated and fed up.
i have been having trouble with my right foot for 6 years now. I get a lot of pain when walking and it is affecting every aspect of my life, I have got to the point sometimes that i just want to cut it off myself. I have been seeing the health professionals for 6 years for this foot. After endless physiotherapy

Help MTX again!
Monday morning, i have just consumed my 15mg and trying really hard to not let this ruin my day, pretending it's asprin; thats what one nurse told me. I have been reading latest blogs with regards to remission; I stopped taking MTX in Feb, cons was horrified offered Leftulomide but not allowed to start

Up to this point..
just a catch up really, I went with my sister to see Rhuemy Nurse on Tuesday, the long awaited appointment, came away feeling quite flat, as all it achieved was a reintroductiion of Mtx as before, she had read the letter I sent to Cons as he had asked that she see me, instead of Him. She said that all

Sooo that didn't exactly go to plan!
After being so positive that I was going back to work Wednesday and feeling as near to normal as possible on Tuesday had a massive flare up Tuesday night. Seriously starting to think I'm allergic to work. Was so excited to be going back though. Before I went to bed my knee was twinging a bit but nothing

Mixed feelings
Just a bit of an update really. Since by massive moan last time I have now transferred hospitals and the Rheumatology team are completely different...they have been really fantastic and are so on top of things I never have to chase them. I've since put in a complaint about the previous consultant who

What next...??? Help and advice needed
I am at present on Humira since Dec.2011..."will make you feel like a new man " ...sadly it hasn't ...no real lasting effect...I seem to get flares every 6-8 weeks and the last one put me off work for 4 weeks and was only settled with steroid injection. My consultant is reluctant to give me steroids.
