3rd transfer (2nd FET) and last embryo!! Steroids and clexane!! Success stories please?
I will be on
steroids
, clexane, progesterone injections and pessaries and obviously estrogen patches for lining. Any success stories with use of
steroids
and clexane after a few failed transfers? Could do with some positivity! My FET is booked for 7/8/23 🤞🤞 thanks

Recurring chest infections and phlegmy cough
Over this year, I have had 4 courses of
steroids
, and 3 courses of antibiotics - Doxycycline - 1 course for 3 weeks and another course for 2 weeks. My asthma medication was changed in March from Flutiform 125mg to Symbicort 200/6.

Pneumonia and Pleurisy- pain
He said I had pleurisy and prescribed an inhaler,
steroids
and painkillers. A few days later I was feeling worse. I went to the Dr again and I was then sent for a chest xray that afternoon. The chest xray showed I have pneumonia in my right lung. The Dr put me on antibiotics for 7 days.

Prednisolone and Surgery
Hi, I have been taking
steroids
now for at least 6 years. I am currently taking 20mg daily. I have read several articles on this site regarding the need for extra doses when undergoing surgery.

Asthma flare up any advice?
Currently on
steroids
and amoxicillin for last 3 days.
Steroids
have not helped my wheezing at all. Seen GP today who thinks my wheezing is worse so has prescribed clenil 200mg and montelukast. I just want to feel better!

Trodelvy update
I get: Emend, Tyelonal,
Steroids
, Benedryl, Hydration, Zofran, and Alxoi. Plus on week two, I get a dose of Neulasta (On-pro). Finally, don't let them reduce infusion time for this less than 90 minutes as this seems to help with side effects.

Predisolone, side effects.
I suffer also from dizziness almost every day and recently I have read that
Steroids
can also make you Dizzy if you have been on them a long time.

How I reinvented myself after PMR
Those early years were difficult but manageable with
steroids
. From the beginning, my rheumatologists (old and new) and GP have always called my "case" unusual in that I still kept up with my various workouts and physical activities. I did not fit the typical guidelines.

I just want to understand what is going on.What i would like to discuss is my GP has told me to reduce the
steroids
very quickly, which I was pleased with because of the side effects.

Tearful all the time
When I was diagnosed in September last year I was on anti-inflammatory
steroids
for 8 months. My last injection was in February, and the Rheumatologist told me it should be out of my system in 3 months, so that would've been May.

Any advice apprecaited
we started to taper down the
steroids
to 1 mg but he was sleeping 21 hours a day. His repeat scan showed increased swelling with a midline shift. His
steroids
were re started at a higher dose and he received several doses of avastin generic type. He started with SOB.

NK cells and cytokines
Hi ladies If you had high NK cells / VERY high cytokines, can you tell me: - Did you keep having your bloods re-tested to see if you could get them "in range" (after trying things like
steroids
or intralipids) before transfering an embryo or is this an uncommon approach?

Alternative strategies for dealing with PMR
Are there any examples out there of PMR sufferers who’ve managed the condition without
steroids
? …and if so, what were they, and how long did it take! And information would be welcomed, be they successful or otherwise.

Advice required
I had some pain return at 12.5mg and then at 10mg, I became close to where I had started before the
steroids
. My G.P. advised me to increase by 1mg for 10 days, and if no improvement increase by another 1mg which I did so currently taking 12mg.

Switching from T3 to T4
My adrenals are in very poor condition and have been deteriorating fast over the last years, taking
steroids
isn't an option for me (been there, done that), they simply make me even worse for all kinds of reasons (I can't tolerate almost anything anymore regarding meds and supplements).

I was especially infuriated by the pharmacist who took ages then produced a hand written schedule of the dates I am supposed to cut my
steroids
down on. I've spent six years cutting them down and there is no way my body will cope with 1mg reduction every five days.
