If
steroids
are bad for treating flare-ups, what about the
steroids
used in ocrevus? I've had 9 ocrevus infusions...what do I use for a relapse or flare-up? My neuro is not on the steroid bandwagon to stop a relapse because of the damage to bones.. this is a lose-lose situation.

steroids
. Flare up due most likely to with drawing
steroids
to quickly. It will be slower now and every 4 - 6 weeks by 1 mg. Hopefully that will do the trick.

Hello to all Three years ago I was diagnosed with GCA and put on 75mg of Prednisilone tapering for 2 years till I finished. I managed to stay off Prednisone for 1 year. During that time I suffered many side effects, well that is what I thought was the case. I improved slowly but then went downhill

Steroids for digital ulcer
I have been prescribed
steroids
(4 x 5mg per day , for 3 days, then reducing number per day) . I am in agonising pain with little effect when I take them. The pain increases in the evening and over night. Has anybody had any success with taking
steroids
.

Hi I have PMR ( diagnosed in April this year ) My rheumatologist gave me a steroid injection 3 weeks ago in shoulder for pain ( she was reluctant for me to go back on oral preds because I’m diabetic type 2 ) Anyway the
steroids
reduced the pain for a short while . Then it was agony !

Synacthen Test
It says it is now safe to stop taking
steroids
. My question is, as i have been on
steroids
for over 5 years should i just stop or continue reducing. I am now taking 2.5mg prednisolone reducing by 0.5mg every 2 weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

My consultant is happy to prescribe
steroids
, clexane and aspirin without the text which is so much cheaper. Wondered if anyone else has done this and got a BFP?

Covid recovery and steroids
using the dsns method I had got down to 0.5 mg
steroids
in December but then I got covid. The first symptoms that I experienced were like a pmr flare. I increased the
steroids
to 5 mg . After two weeks of slow recovery I then went rapidly downhill and went to the doctor.
