Heading for Stereotactic Radiotherapy
It is worse since surgery and having taken a lot of advice I have opted for
stereotactic
radiotherapy
to the effected area which is being done in the next few weeks. I am not going on hormone treatment until we establish if the
stereotactic
radiotherapy
is successful in keeping the cancer at bay.

From all I can tell, radiological and surgical options have equal, and generally positive, prognosis for my bundle of symptoms, but am seeking info from anyone with similar bundle who is choosing a treatment or has had one -- especially if you've had combo HDR Brachy/external radiotherapy with Lopron

Stopping Lupron??
Looking for advice on Lupron injections for treatment of prostate cancer. Found I had prostate cancer. High PSA values, 8 of 12 cores were positive. Doctor suggested Lupron (45 mg), wait two months then start radiation treatment. That went well. I had a second Lupron injection. Now the doctor

Next Monday (5/13) will be my 8th PSA test. I finished EBRT in August 2015. In conjunction with the radiation therapy, I had Hormone Therapy (Lupron Depot) every 6 months for 2.5 years. Starting in October, 2015 my PSA has been checked every 6 months and has been "undetectable" at every checkpoint. Please

Information on Coloplast Genesis malleable prosthesis
I have been to see a specialist today and he advised because of the complications i had following surgery (DVT/PE, sepsis & lymphatic fluid) and the fact that I’m due shortly to have
stereotactic
radiotherapy
I’m only suitable for the simpler implant of the coloplast genesis.

Still No Treatment for SCLC
I posted on here ages ago, with the sad diagnosis of my mum’s sclc. Due to several administrative errors, she still hasn’t started treatment and it’s now gone from stage 3a for stage 4. It started as what looked like a ‘nodule’ to now half of her left lung.... I just don’t know how this has happened

1 year anniversary Auximen PET scan
I recently took my 2nd fluciclovine PET scan even though I had almost no evidence of cancerous growth. My PSA went up a little after being under control for most of the year following but all other labs continue to be the best they have been in 20 years for me. Glucose, Alkaline/Phos ratio, cholesterol

Local ablative radiotherapy: A means to revert low volume castration-resistant prostate cancer into a hormone-sensitive status?
Sounds promising. These patients had a PSADT of 3.2 months before RT. After RT, it took 15.6 months for the PSA to increase from nadir to nadir+2. Looking forward to the prospective study. ---------- https://ascopubs.org/doi/abs/10.1200/JCO.2018.36.6_suppl.188 --------- Conclusions: A relevant subset
