Flu vaccine
the vaccine can cause muscle aches and the radiation of aches from the point or injection to the further away parts of my body seems strange, I’m wondering if the length of time these aches are lasting are down to the heart meds, or whether I’m just having an achy time for some other reason, possibly

Cholesterol and thyroid blood test results
But anyway i have been asked about using
statins
if the need arose and it got worse. But been advised about diet and lifestyle. I do eat rubbish often. Old bad habits after 30 years shift work. Another Cholesterol blood test in 6 months. Thyroid tests again in 7 weeks to make sure is okay

Statins n stents
As other members experienced anxiety and depression after MI stents , had heart attack 6 years ago and feel it’s totally ruined my life . The anxiety attacks are real and totally debilitating and the symptoms mimic heart attack to the letter , I’ve wrap myself in cotton wool I feel , if I do anything

GP ha suggested 20 mg statin but not taken my BP....Feeling deflated as thought weight loss plus exercise would have cracked this...Any ideas please - thinking of giving up red meat and some processed floods, milk butter etc - would it make a difference to avoid the

Statins Reduce COVID-19 Severity, Likely by Removing Cholesterol That Virus Uses to Infect.
UC San Diego Health researchers recently reported that
statins
— widely used cholesterol-lowering medications — are associated with reduced risk of developing severe COVID-19 disease, as well as faster recovery times.

Is this unusual ?
Next 7 days walked 60 miles - kept getting out of breath. 10 days later no symptoms but went to GP who put me on aspirin and
statins
and referred to cardiology.

High ALT linked to Cholesterol?
I have started on low dose
statins
and a low fat diet. Apparently my ALT was raised 4 years ago on a liver function test but this was never mentioned to me.
