Crazy new numbers being thrown my way.
It was all just 'Your cholesterol is high, you're going to die (not really, I'm exaggerating a bit), you need
statins
.'

So shocked to realise how unhealthy I am
On
statins
. Exercise regularly. Eat a mainly veggie dire, with some oily fish. I'm researching further changes to my diet but wondering whether to start supplements, special yoghurt etc, though I'd prefer to avoid what I think of as "faddy eating".

Taking Statins
I have gone back on
statins
and immediately, started suffering again. I have read some studies and watched video clips on YouTube that contradict everything that we know about cholesterol and warn against the use of
statins

Ido t take

. I don’t feel over medicated and my energy levels are usually very low as also have a diagnosis of ME/CFS. I am struggling to lose half a stone, don’t have loose stools or any heart palpitations or hand tremors.

Levothyroxine intolerance
I have had similar pain caused by clopidogrel, fragmin and heperin and will not touch
statins
as I think I am a bad risk with them. I think more damage is occurring now and want to stop taking the Levo and go T3 only. Things which have helped to convince me it is the Levo.

statins
which I stopped myself in April 17 I have had every test and tried all the supplements and diets you care to name. All without success!

Legs hurt
Even my feet ache My doctor say she wants me off steroids ASAP as it said in my notes that I couldn’t take
statins
as I suffered muscle weakness. Are these two drug similar? 😩

Will my dad be okay?
He doesn’t have diabetes, and his doctor said his cholesterol was under control (but he’s been taking
statins
for years). His doctor just prescribed a beta blocker that he picked up today.
