Ventriculcar Tachy Ablation? Anyone have one?
Just curious. I had one doctor say he could not do it because my scar was located in the ventricular septum, however I am seeing a top top ablation specialist next week in hopes he may be able to help. I take Sotalol now and it makes me very tired and sluggish. I feel like I am 80 and I am only 40

Weekly Paclitaxel protocol
Dear all, My mother (post surgery) is on the following adjuvant chemotherapy regimen: 1. Taxol - Paclitaxel (70mg/m2) weekly for 12 week. [This comes out to be paclitaxel 100mg weekly as her BSA is 1.48] 2. Herceptin - Trastuzumab 150mg (weekly) for 52 weeks. No prior anthracyclin or any other chemotherapy

Pic line success
Hello everyone , Well finally the pic line is in, with the help of my GP, I took a tranquilliser beforehand. This was done on Monday, had a big bleed early Tuesday morning, this was soon sorted by the nurse, then followed by my Taxol chemo, which was absolutely fine. This procedure will now be weekly

Picc line
Thanks to every one who replied to my fear of having the pic line put in. There has been no mention of a local anaesthetic.I know that would help. I am seeing my. GP tomorrow. And hoping he will prescribe me a few tranquillisers in order to avoid another panic attack. With regard to hair loss, mine went

Keyhole Maze Procedure Tomorrow
Tomorrow I will be one of the first patients in Australia to have a keyhole maze procedure. It seems that the success rate is something around 75-85%. Experienced my first episode of atrial fibrillation in 2000, as a fit and healthy 48 year old. Since 2000 I’ve been on a range of medications. Mainly

Hi everyone i have only just become aware of this site even though I was diagnosed with stage 3c ovarian cancer on July 13th 2014. I had very few signs that would have lead me to suspect anything seriously wrong even though I had been having numerous tests for the previous 18 months ct scans Mri etc

I am a a vigorous exerciser ( 6 days ) I love my spin classes. After swimming last summer I got out of the water and my heart started racing at 160 bpm. I ended up in emerg and then was diagnosed with afib. The episodes them occurred every week. After seeing a cardiologist I went to Bisoprolol which

difficult decision
Hi folks, I'm feeling well and in Spain this week but been told there is a phase 1 clinical trial of new antiangiogenic drug (cuts off blood supply to tumours) at the Christie which I can probably do. There is little info on its effectiveness so far as only 4 people on it so far and they won't tell me
