Mets to adrenal glands, anyone?
Hello All, I had scan results yesterday which weren't great news. My second line treatment of carbo/caelyx has utterly failed and I've had progression whilst on it. Platinum resistant, oh great. I had a terrible time on treatment so I'm incredibly disappointed to know that none of it was worth the

WEEKLY TAXOL UPDATE.
Hi Ladies Started weekly Taxol beginning of September. Side effects not too bad, usual nausea and constipation! CA125 down to 224 from 673 after 2 infusions so fingers crossed it is going the right way! New "hair" arriving by courier this afternoon, thought I was getting away with it just thinning but

Does Taxol work?
I have been to see my oncologist today to discuss starting Taxol. I was assured this may help hold back my cancer, which is spreading) but I cannot be cured. I know this but I need to know if anyone else on weekly Taxol had encouraging results. I still have 3 tumours and a couple of small tumours in

First AF Ablation this week
Greetings, Long-time lurker, first time poster here. Although I'm in the U.S. I've found this forum to be very helpful. Just for background, I'm 46 y.o. male in good health with no chronic conditions besides paroxysmal AF and atrial flutter. Cardiologist and EP feel that AF/flutter likely precipitated

Atrial Flutter and Cardioversion
I have Atrial flutter (AFL) caused by cardiac surgeries in early childhood and my late teens. My initial diagnosis was Pulmonary Atresia with Intact Ventricular Septum. I developed AFL when I was 28 years old (2014) but I have had recurrent episodes ever since. As a result I've had three cardioversions

Hola everyone, Thank you so much for all your positive thoughts, prayers, encouragement. This support group means alot to me, when I need to vent, etc. you seem to understand. Does anyone get dizziness a few hours after taking beta blockers? I am on sotalol now but have been on bisoprolol and atenolol. I thought the dizziness would be quicker than that! Also do you wake up early restless? Thank you
