Am I over thinking?
It has been many years since my SAH ruptured suddenly & I had emergency coiling, followed by a stent fitted a year later. Although it was traumatic at the time, for both myself & my family, I have been extremely lucky as I survived the 50/50 prognosis & had no physical limitations. It did take a couple

I'm getting a Spinal Cord Stimulator in Two weeks.
Hi, I'm new here. In 2 weeks I get a permanent SCS implant, and am so excited . I had the 7 day trial application, and to my astonishment, was relatively pain free for the first time in 10 years. Are there any others here with the SCS? My other chronic illness is PMR, which I developed in 2013.

After years of doctors, trials, tests, meds etc. it is time to rest and flow with the current
After almost 4 years of posting here I have found it most difficult to write this. My wonderful 57 year old brother Bob has entered Hospice 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately these last three months have been one setback after another. Emergency spinal surgery leaving him struggling to walk, a permanent indwelling

Flare or Something Else?
To complicate things I also have
Spinal
Stenosis
and Osteoarthritis. My inflammatory markers are usually ok, probably because of the Pred so I don’t think a blood test would help. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar pain? Thank you.

I had spinal surgery about 6 yrs ago and ever since then I have suffered tingling in both my hands and feet, pain in my knees, hips, neck and shoulders. I dont really sleep anymore because the pain in my body keeps me awake. I

PTT 1 year later. This will be my last PTT status report.
I had been getting weaker, especially noticeable in my quadriceps, which, for the past 6 months I attributed to my continuing to progress, but as my strength is coming back after surgery for
spinal
stenosis
, I now consider it due to that.

Does anyone have experience withdrawing from Opiates?
I am currently being prescribed Pain Medications for
Spinal
Stenosis
for...going on years and I am trying to cut back by weaning myself off and it's NOT going good. In all honesty I have been dependant on them for quite some time now and I know where this is headed!

Severe back pain, update
Imagine my surprise to find that I have scoliosis and my back is collapsing and that my severe
spinal
stenosis
means I’m close to becoming paralyzed. Finally I’ve met a surgeon who has arranged the surgery within 2 weeks.

Spinal
stenosis
) It is extremely painful. I don't want to take opioids for many reasons and because I have kidney disease, I only take Tylenol which is like taking air when going up against this level of pain.
